The morning after the imfamous kiss - and Victor is glowing, Kevin however is glaring (and he does it soooo well!). It's Halloween time at the hospital which is aglow with decorations. Julie is happy to be back at work and is welcomed with open arms by Karen. In Julie's mail is an invitation to a Halloween party - Karen reports she has already opened her unsigned invitation. Julie vents about Cooper's call the day before and the reminder of last year's less than fun Halloween. Eve is joyfully putting up Halloween decorations. Julie and Eve exchange less-than-thrilled hellos.
Speaking of less-than-thrilled, Kevin is that with poor good intentioned Victor. The Einsteins - er - Collins put their heads together and realize the notes got switched. Lucy appears at Scott's doorstep, but doesn't wish to intrude if not welcome. She has had enough of barging in, thank you very much. However both Scott and Serena are ecstatic to see her, so she stays. Eve announces her favorite holiday is Halloween (since she has a thing for chocolate this is hardly surprising). Karen mediates between Julie and Eve, and after Eve departs wonders if Eve is being set up the same way Julie was. She also bemoans the fact that the interns were once all so close and now are all so suspicious of one another.
Frank and Joe also receive the mystery invitation. Naturally the subject of Karen and Neil come up, and Frank (who must be between DL-56 fixes as he sounded quite intelligent) warns Joe that just because Courtney says Neil is his son doesn't make it so (Duh!) A light bulb goes off and Joe orders paternity testing (can't wait to see Courtney's reaction to that!)
Scott works (and just when I thought noone in PC did) as Lucy and Serena tried to pick out a Halloween costume. Scott has also received an invitation, but Lucy hasn't. Serena invites Lucy and the suggestion is made that Serena go as McGuire (I think my knowledge of baseball is less than zilch) and Lucy as first base :) Serena goes to call a friend, and Scott and Lucy remember last year's Halloween (there was a lot of that going around - a clue?) and Rex (and not fondly I'm afraid). Lucy informs Scott that Kevin and Eve have gotten very, very close. Victor vows to set things right, Kevin orders him to leave bad enough alone. Kevin hints that Lucy walked into more than a friendly dinner - and Victor wonders what went on between Eve and Kevin but Kevin does not feel like sharing. Kevin also receives an invitation. Victor thinks it might be from Lucy. Kevin doesn't care who it is from he has no intention of going.
Chris and Eve are invitationless. Eve is too busy remembering with fondness the night before (including the kiss) to feel left out. Chris inquires about the date and the lateness of her getting home (jealous much?). Joe, Karen and Julie are reminded of another invitation that they accepted that ended up being Cooper's welcome to General Hospital party and decide maybe it would be more safe to stay at home. Scott wonders if Lucy misread the situation, but Lucy insists Kevin and Eve were having a romantic date - they have moved on while she and Scott still don't know where their relationship stands. Scott thinks maybe he and Lucy should be happy Kevin and Eve are happy and move on themselves. Lucy is apparently a lot less sure. Matt reveals that the party is his and Ellen's. The printer must have left his and Ellen's names off (makes you go hmmmmm). Julie is so relieved she hugs him which causes Matt to crack a joke about her scary boyfriend.
Kevin wonders where Victor spent the night, but the only response from Victor is that a gentlemen never tells. Their conversation is interrupted by - a phone call from the killer! The killer claims to be smarter than Kevin (yeah right - as if). The Killer announces that it is time for someone else to die. Kevin picks up his invitation.
The End.
