Port Charles Update for Thursday, 12-Nov-1998

The first scene we see is the gang stuck in the elevator -- Julie is having a hissy fit/panic attack, but what else is new?

Switch to the roof -- Kevin and Scott have only SECONDS left to diffuse the bomb. The bomb squad idiots tell him to cut the red wire. "NO! Cut the blue one!" shouts Victor. Scott has the clippers. Kevin tells him to listen to Victor. Scott says no. He starts to go for the red wire, but at the last second decides to go with Victor. Good choice! The bomb is diffused, with just one second left on the clock! Yeah, Victor! You need to go work at the PCPD bomb squad -- apparantly you're more qualified than the clowns that are there now!

All of those folks who are trapped are rescued. Garcia is talking to one of the security guys -- he saw a girl on the roof earlier that day -- "young, medium height, curvy" -- looked like Dr. Lambert.

All of the non-injured parties are congregating on the roof. Julie's sure in a hurry to get out of there -- hmmm, wonder why . . .

Someone comes up from behind and hugs Lucy. She thinks it's Kevin -- WRONG! It's Scott. Her reply: "It's you" (kinda disappointed) -- Scott is a tad offended, but ignores it and kisses her.

Kevin is in Eve's room comforting her. Chris walks in, obviously concerned. (Where the heck WAS he all this time, anyway?) Also very obviously jealous of Kevin. Kevin and Chris exchange dirty looks while discussing that the bomb was planted by the GH killer. (Don't even think about it -- my sweetie Chris is innocent!)

Back in the GH lobby, Matt & Ellen hug. Lucy & Scott show up. Scott is surprised to hear that Lucy helped take care of Eve in the elevator.

Back to Eve's room -- Garcia comes in and wants to interrogate Eve, cause someone who looks like her was spotted on the GH roof earlier in the day.

In the ER with Mary Scanlon -- Joe spouts out some medical jargon that I won't even attempt to repeat or comprehend here. But whatever he suggests, it works, and Mary seems to be recovering. Julie comes in -- where WAS she, powdering her nose? Having a tete a tete with one of her alternate personalities? Setting another bomb, perhaps?

Eve is livid that Garcia is questioning her. She says sarcastically that she's taken up a new hobby, rappeling, and was practicing on the GH roof. Chris then chimes in with a comment about Garcia training with Inspector Clouseau. Lucy comes in the door to thank Kevin -- she overhears the discussion, and says Eve couldn't have been on the roof -- she was at the lighthouse at that time.

In the GH lobby, Scott is on the phone with Serena. Lucy wants to talk to her -- says they'll have ice cream, she's having cravings for one particular flavor -- while she's saying this, an appointment card falls from her purse -- Scott picks it up. It's an appointment card with Dr. Newman, Lucy's obgyn . . . .

Tomorrow's the big day folks! The wait is finally over (and it BETTER be good)!
