Port Charles Update for Thursday, 10-Dec-1998

HI all! Sorry this is a little late, but I had a busy evening yesterday, trying to assist in Chris' medical care, since Kevin and Eve weren't interested enough to find out if he was still breathing or not . . . .

The show begins with Eve question Chris about the virus. Chris still won't say a word about the DL56 (you IDIOT!). Ellen comes over and shows them Frank's chest x-ray --- the virus is growing at a VERY rapid rate. Chris looks devestated -- and a bit under the weather.

Kevin is talking to Frank -- Frank is having trouble breathing . . . .

Scott brings Lucy into the ER -- Ellen comes over to check her vitals and wants to get her into a bed . . . .

Back to Chris and Eve -- Eve tell Chris that she knows he's looking for a way out of this, but he has to tell her what the virus was mixed with. Chris still won't budge -- he wants to go to the lab and look at his notes. Kevin approaches them. They tell him that they're gonna go to the lab -- he volunteers to come along. He overhears that Lucy was brought in and wants to go check her out, but hesitates. Eve gives him permission to go to Lucy. (Well gee, THANK YOU Evie! Thank for your approval on Kevin's actions -- he couldn't have made that decision without your okay! Sheesh!) Eve says she'll meet Chris in the lab.

Lark is brought into the ER with the virus. Chris check her over -- he's starting to look VERY bad by now.

In Lucy's room, Ellen is examining her. Scott is there -- he starts coughing. Ellen wants him checked out. Kevin comes in while Scott is gone. He tries to comfort Lucy -- Lucy is glad that he's there. It's obvious how much they still care for one another. Lucy even calls him "my Doc" -- it was VERY sweet! Scott comes back in -- Scott and Kevin are actually civil to one another, though still glaring somewhat.

Lark wants to see Frank -- she goes to his side, and Frank tells her that Chris has been supplying him with DL56.

Back in the lab, Chris is getting sicker by the minute. Eve doesn't even notice. Chris listens to his notes through an earphone -- he still won't let Eve hear them. (This is really starting to p*&% me off -- Chris, just let her hear the freakin' notes already!)

Back to Scott and Lucy -- Scott does his best to comfort Lucy as she begins to feel even worse.

Kevin is on the phone with Victor -- tells him to stay away from GH! Lark comes by -- Kevin wants her to get back to bed. She tells him she needs to find Chris. Kevin says he'll give him the message. Ellen points out that Kevin isn't getting sick, and wonders why. Ellen talks to Matt on the phone, and tells him to stay out of the ER. She then calls the Assoc. for Disease Control and quarantines the ER.

Back in the lab -- Kevin comes in. Chris looks like he's about ready to keel over. And he does -- he tosses the tape recorder to Eve, she grabs it, it slips from her hands, and falls into a beaker filled with acid. Kevin and Eve sit there and are thoroughly devestated that Chris' notes are gone! Chris is on the floor unconscious -- and they don't even seem to notice!

Well, that's the story! I need to get back to GH and take care of Chris, since nobody else seems to be doing it!
