Port Charles Update for Wednesday, 16-Dec-1998

Hi fellow PC fans, here's today's update:

It started with Joe and Miss Walking Disease in a cafe in Greece, ploting on how to get Neil back. Courtney spots Neil with his bodyguards, starts to run to him but Joe stopped her. (snooze city)

Chris is still not looking so hot. (poor baby) Karen and Matt are in his room. They need his help to crack his code to his notes on DL-56. Matt explained to him how critical it is for him to help them.

Kevin also not looking so hot. (At least they got him off the floor and in bed). Eve and Seth the ADC guy are in with him. Seth tells Eve that both she and Kevin are exposed to this virus. It's just a matter of time before Eve shows symptoms.

Matt tells Chris that Mario is dead. He also tells him that he knows that he tried to patent DL-56 to make a forture, but explains that there are lives at stake. Chris tells Karen and Matt how to cracked the code to his notes on his lab computer. Chris is of course upset about Mario's death and that he just gave away of forture. (You did the right thing Chris) Matt increases Chris' oxygen to ease his discomfort.

Back to the snooze couple...I mean Joe and Courtney. She tells Joe about her upbringing. Wealth and social standing was very important. Joe only saw that side of her parents but not her, she never let him see it. Her mother was training her to catch a rich man. Joe was wondering why she was dating him. She claims that she fell in love. Joe suggest that she call the Kanelos' to see if they let her talk to Neil. Mrs. Kanelos claims that Neil isn't there. Courtney lies and tell her that Neil's leukemia is back and needs medical attention. Mrs. Kanelos didn't buy it and hung up. Courtney had a few choice words for her.

Kevin wakes up. Eve comments that he's ready to go kareoke club hopping with her. She tells him that Gail is going to check on Julie for him. Gail is a good friend. They talked about having a second date. Kevin teases that he arranged this whole thing just to spend time with Eve.

Matt and Karen are in the lab recreating DL-56. Matt wonders if it's the answer. Karen tells Matt that she visited Scott but he was asleep and she said that she felt helpless after reading his chart. Matt told Karen that he visited Ellen. Didn't recognize him at all. (I wanted to give Matt a hug, poor baby). She'll recognize you Matt as soon as she gets better.

Joe and Courtney plot to get Neil to see a doctor. Joe figures that the Kanelos' won't jeopadize Neil's health and will get him medical treatment.

Karen and Matt finished making DL-56 and will make two experiments. The ADC are going to do the same.

Eve visits Chris and he asks her how's her boyfriend. Eve says who? (I glad that being sick didn't cause Chris to lose his sense of humor). He meant Scott of course. Eve told him that Kevin is also sick.

Courtney is on the phone talking in Greek. She pretended to be the Kanelos' housekeeper. Mrs. Kanelos made an appointment for Neil to see a doctor. Courtney told Joe that she hopes Neil grows up to be like him.

Matt and Karen are still in the lab. Discussing the research and Matt notices that Karen's glove is ripped. I'm guessing this means that Karen is now exposed to the virus.
