Port Charles Update for Tuesday, 22-Dec-1998

Today on Port Charles

The show opens with Joe and Courtney stowed away on a boat on there way to the Island were the Kanelos' have Neil. Courtney feels sea sick, and Joe tries to make her feel better. They then share memories of there past relationship.

At the Hospital Karen's Antibody Is effective and the Quarentine is lifted.
Frank Comes into Chris' room and threatens to punch him. Frank says it's Chris' fault that he stole the contaiminated DL-56 and injected himself with it. As Chris put it - true Junkie logic.

Chris tells Frank He was just looking for a vaxine, not a new strain of the flu. Chris also explains to Farnk that his days as a DL-56 test subject are over, since everyone knows Frank is still on the drug.

Frank finds Karen and tries to butter her up to get some DL-56.
After Karen refuses, Frank gets mad and tells Karen that she created the stinkin drug so she owes him. Karen says he will help him get better,
but his only two options are detox or cold turkey.
Frank responds that he will die without the drug and tells her to shove her offer of help.

Frank then returns to Chris' room and asks for the formula for DL-56.
Chris reponds that Frank will get nothing from him and to get on with his life.

Monica Q then enters the room - great to see her on PC.
She tells Frank that he is relieved of his paramedic duties until he is off DL-56 and gets a clean bill of health.
Maybe Monica should introduce Frank to Alan Q.

Monica then tells Chris that his privlages at the hospital have been discontinued and he will be brought before the medical review board.

Frank leaves to find Karen again. He tells her he wants to kick the
DL-56 and is willing to go through gradual detox.
Karen responds that she is willing to watch over Frank 24/7 until he is clean, but if he messes up he will have to go cold turkey.

Meanwhile, Eve tells Kevin that the Quarentine is over and they can go home. Eve says she is apointing herself Kevin's source of Holiday cheer,
and will do what ever she can to make his holiday season bright.
They then leave to buy a Christmas tree and decorations.

Elsewhere, Julie is being loaded into an ambulance after faking feeling sick. The Paramedic loading her into the ambulance is the presumed dead
Cooper.

Cooper Kos Julie's guard and the two of them drive off in the ambulance.
Cooper tells Julie that his bullet proof vest protected him when she shot him. He tells Julie that it is his job to take care of her and know where she is, and that she should never trust anyone but him.

Cooper then tells Julie that they will now pick up were they left off.
They break into Kevin's home. Julie calls Kevin's house borarama because it has no decorations - typical Julie, a spoiled brat.

The show ends as Kevin and Eve bring in the Christmas tree and are met by Julie and Cooper.
Cooper again makes the classic bad guy mistake and starts talking -
instead of just shooting them.
