Port Charles Update for Tuesday, 29-Dec-1998

Karen, Serena, Lee and Gail are together on Christmas Day.
Karen and Serena gave them a picture of themselves. (It's a really nice picture of the two of them). Lee and Gail are wondering why Joe isn't there. Karen didn't want to tell the real reason why Joe wasn't there in front of Serena. Serena wishes that her daddy and Lucy were there.


Matt and Ellen were at the hospital. (I guess someone had
to work). Matt researched the different cultures on how
they celebrate the holidays. (What a guy). Matt learned how to say Merry Christmas in 26 languages. He also invite
Ellen to celebrate Kwanza with him. She of course
accepted. (She's a fool if she didn't).

Santa appeared to hand out gifts to the patients. Matt and Ellen wondered who this Santa was who knew so much about
the patients. A little boy was sitting on Santa's lap
pulled down his beard as he got off his lap. It was Chris.

Karen told Lee and Gail that Joe went to Greece with
Courtney to get Neil back from the Kanelos. She told them
that Neil is Joe's son and that the Kanelos kidnapped him.

Chris explained that he just wanted to do something nice
for the patients. (Come on Chris, you're just trying to
ease your guilty conscience). A nurse from the aids ward
went to get Chris since the kids heard that Santa was on
the floor. He told the nurse that he was off duty. The
nurse left, and Chris started to leave too but Ellen
stopped him. She wanted him to finish playing Santa. It
was a nice gesture.
