Port Charles Update for Monday, 8-Mar-1999

Hey! Today's episode was not very exciting, as far as plot goes. But, for what it's worth, here's the update.

Lucy visited DV at the PC hotel. There's an article in a popular fashion mag that says DV is coming out with a new line of romantic fashions. He tells Lucy that the article is false. But, if it's generating this kind of publicity, maybe he *should* market his own line. Courtney practices Julie's "Marcia Cooper" signature. Lucy gets angry at DV. He tells her that he didn't say he *would* start his own line, just that he *could* o he wanted. He knows all about the fashion industry. She should let him show her the ropes. Sebastian is at GH. A nurse tells him he should get his test results in a couple days. Ellen asks him why he's there. He tells her this bogus story about a business associate falling & needing some stitches. He asks her to have a cup of coffee. She tells him she just came on duty & it'll be awhile before she can take a break. He'll wait. Frank & Courtney arrive at the Port Charles National Bank. Courtney tells some woman that her name is Marcia Cooper, she's unhappy with the bank she's using, & she wants to transfer her funds from her former bank into PCNB, into a checking account that'll draw interest. The woman tells her that they can have her money electronically wired to PCNB. Courtney hands the woman her fake passport, and "Marcia's" account number.
Garcia tells Scott that someone rigged the sprinklers to come on in the warehouse. They have a suspect, but not enough evidence. He used to work for someone in the fashion industry, but Garcia can't tell Scott who. Scott says his guess would be David Bordisso. Garcia says that sounds like a good guess. Ellen's looking for one of her patients. She's having surgery tomorrow, & they need to run some tests. The woman is playing checkers with Sebastian. Ellen is clearly impressed with how kind Sebastian is to the woman. He asks Ellen again to have coffee with him. She says she will as soon as she gets her patient's tests started. Lucy tells Scott about her visit with DV. Scott tells her about what he learned about DV from Eve & Kevin after Serena's recital, & about what Garcia said. They decide to trick DV. They will take him on as a partner, then dump him.
Frank & Courtney are worried because their bank transaction is taking so long. Not to worry, the woman tells them that a large transaction such as "Miss Cooper's" takes a while. The money is transferred, & she asks "Miss Cooper" if she'd like to make a withdrawal. Lucy & Scott visit DV & tell him they want to go into business with him. He says no thanks. Ellen & Sebastian have a heart to heart. She tells him Lucy's opinion that they belong together. He tells her that he thinks it's fate that he came to town to talk to Lucy about her, & then he saw her when she was stranded in the storm. He asks her if she's afraid to get to know him because she may end up having feelings for him. She doesn't answer.
