In the time honored good/news bad news vein - the very good news is that MATT was on today - and I got to do the update today. Oh yeah life is good. As was Sebastian - who I will call Sebby the rest of the update just because I want to . How can there be any bad new you ask? Well no Kevin. Where oh where has my Kevy gone? But Matt and Sebby have me almost asking Kevy who? so things are real good. Not to mention Chris - which I will -cause he was looking fine today. I mean fine. Oh and Frankie at his brooding post DL-56 best. Oh and Joe. My I so admire the men of Port Charles. I think there was some women on also - anyway - here we go -

Courtney is dressed to the nines - styling big time. Chris admires the view. She has come bearing gifts (no not that kind get your mind out of the gutter!) - it is a very expensive watch. Doesn't this make Chris a gigolo? Oh Chris - have I got a watch for you!

James Owens aka Frank Scanlon rents him an apartment - first and last month's rent in cash thank you very much - that just happens to have a window that looks right into Joe and Karen's brownstone apartment. Imagine that. Eve can't believe that Ellen actually chose to eat at the hospital. And in comes Sebby. Looking gorgeous. Ellen gets all flustered (not that I blame her - be still my heart) and Eve and Sebby shake hands. Sebby is looking for an apartment (and it turns out that I have a room available - just as soon as I move all my son's stuff into the bathroom - won't be no prob at all) but Ellen can't think of an empty one. How about that one in your apartment building, Eve asks helpfully? Sebby gentlemanly to the max tells Ellen he is looking for one on the other side of town. Ellen - who was starving to death minutes before - decides she has to leave. Right now.

And the moment you all have been waiting for - Matt! Matt is visiting Joe. Joe provides juice as Matt asks him how the living together thingy is going. Joe wonders if he and Ellen are gonna move in together (as are we all). Joe wonders just why Matt came by.

Courtney admires Chris's - watch. Remove your coat and I'll thank you properly Chris suggests. Courtney - proving she is a blonde - turns him down. Chris kisses Courtney anyway and then tells her to hold that thought (what thought - where?)

Lucy admires Ellen's outfit and her hair. Ellen is beside herself. She needs to discuss something important with Lucy. Can you guess the topic of conversation? That's right boys and girls - Sebastian! He's making her crazy by being a perfect gentleman Ellen informs Lucy. How awful Lucy sympathizes. Every time Ellen sees Sebby the memory of that night and the music and the kiss and his blazing eyes (what an image!) comes back. Fate cries Lucy. Again. Ellen admits she is beginning to believe that is so (Stay strong Ellen - don't fall for that fate stuff! Now if you want to fall cause he's drop dead gorgeous - that is another matter entirely!)

Sebby and Eve (and what a cute couple they make. Absolutely adorable - hint hint hint TPTB!) bond over lunch. He recognizes her as the lady of the stars. He compliments her and she eats it up. He admits to being the duke in the story. Eve tries to figure out who his lady was - not Lucy? No, but suddenly Sebby is in obvious pain. Eve goes into doctor mode.
Sebby says it is changes in his blood pressure - he has prescriptions he needs filled. He gives Eve his doctor's name - it is a cardiologist. Courtney admires the ring side view of Joe's apartment she and Frank now enjoy. She crows that she has fooled Chris completely. Meanwhile my smart and totally foolproof Chris is telling his PI that Courtney is buying he is buying her story. No way it's an inheritance, Mr. PI tells Chris, she and Neil were cut out of Hunky Kanelos's will.

Eve gives Sebby some prescriptions. He is connective tissue disorder - he will die sooner or later (okay this guy is way too cute to die). Eve votes for later (see she's smitten already!) Sebby asks that his condition remain confidential. Matt again asks about Joe's living arrangements. The upcoming wedding. Do they have a caterer? Joe is wondering if Matt is the wedding police and why he is really here. It's Ellen, Matt admits. Ellen and a guy from her past. A guy that makes Matt uneasy, jealous maybe even paranoid. He's hiding something, Matt just knows it.

Lucy again reminds Ellen she can't fight fate (anyone else tired of that word?) Ellen must be cause she tells Lucy not to repeat it. You can never overstate an ultimate truism says Lucy (let me beg to differ). Ellen doesn't want to jeopardize her relationship with Matt. She doesn't owe Sebby a thing. It was only one day after all. One perfect, unforgettable, haunting day. Ellen decides she has no choice but to end things with Sebby completely. She can't be his friend.

Courtney has purchased a very expensive telescope. Frankie has bought expensive Italian chocolate (oh Frankie! Can I be your friend?) and some other pricey foods. Chris calls Courtney and invites her to dinner. Courtney accepts. Frankie is pleased - this is good he says. Chris is more than pleased - This is great says he.

THE END
