Port Charles Update for Friday, 26-Mar-1999

Our show opens at the lighthouse. Kevin & Eve are discussing the fact that drinking tea prevents heart attacks. How interesting! Scott stops by. He wants Eve to give him the dirt on DV. Frank & Courtney observe (via the telescope) Joe & Karen kissing. Courtney is furious that Karen forgave Joe for having panties in his car. Frank says it's time for Plan B. B is for barhopping. Scott tells Kevin & Eve about how DV is trying to ruin him & Lucy. At GH, Chris & Joe discuss Neil. Chris thinks they need to call a truce, for Neil's sake. He tells Joe that Neil's a great kid, & not spoiled, even though he's rich. Joe tells Chris that Neil is not rich. John cut Neil out of his will when he found out Joe was Neil's dad. Chris is wondering where Courtney got her money.
Courtney shows up at a strip club, wearing a red wig. She orders a Virgin Mary, & overtips the bartender. Frank comes in & orders a cup of coffee. They make small talk, making sure the bartender overhears Courtney tell Frank she's been trying to reach her boyfriend.
When the bartender goes away, Frank tells Courtney to call Karen every 5-10 minutes & hang up. It'll drive Karen crazy, & she'll *69 the club.
Eve tells Scott that as far as she knows, DV was never in Algeria, never a photographer, & never had children. When Courtney calls Karen again & hangs up, Karen hits *69. Courtney disguises her voice & answers with the name of the club, "Classic Cat." Kevin thinks Eve knows something about DV that she's not telling. Karen goes to the strip club. The bartender tells her that a sexy redhead had been trying several times to reach her boyfriend, but she left with some guy. Back at their secret apartment, Frank wants to have sex, but Courtney turns him down. Chris charms the woman at PCNB. She recognizes Courtney's picture as being that of "Marcia Cooper." Chris says he wants to open a checking account. When the woman leaves to get the proper forms, he wonders to himself what Courtney & Julie are up to, or if Julie even knows Courtney's trying to take her money.
