Welcome one and all to today's update! The good news is Matt was on. I so love it when I get Matt to update. It's just so - RIGHT!

Oh - one thing before I start - there's some confusing talk in here about Ellen and Sebby making love/sex - whatever. I must explain that I have a very special VCR and this did not happen. See the show ended when Matt was calling Ellen - I think they were eating dinner. Anyway - no nothin' on the couch - besides isn't that more Frank and Courtney's game? Ohhh, the only thing better would be if I could borrow Zoe's special TV - then it would end with Matt shirtless....Anyway - on with today's show!

Scott is on the phone, getting DV's address when our very own genius Victor joins him. It's only about five blocks away - and they are off! Lucy has borrowed some books from DV on France - trying to envoke some memories. He shows her where her apartment was. She is going to immerse herself in the books - hoping she'll remember something. He tells "Evie" to do as she wishes, after all she left Paris to be with him, and this is her home.

Sebby is feeling oh so much better - he has two tickets to New Orleans on hold for him and Ellen. But alas, she is not as excited as he. She can't just leave the hospital like that. Sebby - now I know you're confused - afterall she was able to leave just a short time ago, but this is different - just remember that Ellen is not to be counted on to be consistent and you'll be fine.

Eve awakes - oh dear she's alone - wait a minute no she's not. There's a man sitting in her room. She asks who he is, but he doesn't answer. He is surprised she can see him. A deja vu feeling comes over her as she glances back toward the bed and sighs "Don't tell me I'm dead -
again" He reminds her about Burt - the Angel of Death - but explains that they don't like that term - Transitional Engineer is preferred. But he is not one of them - he is Ernie - Guardian Angel. Okay - they never even comment on it - so I have to! Burt - however you spell it - and Ernie??? How cheesy can you get! Apparently the Gate Keeper looked at Eve's past - and future - and felt she could use some help. And it's a real opportunity for him - she'll be his first! Oh, boy, a couple of real Eve-zingers occur to me here - but I'm going to behave and restrain myself - so fill in with your own. Ernie explains that when she's doing something wrong, he's the little voice telling her she shouldn't be doing it. Hey Ernie - what do you have to say about paying for
operations? He tells her she has some tough times ahead, and disappears. She wakes up to find Kevy at her bedside - oh darn he's not wearing that black jacket *pout*

Ellen tells Sebby that the phone call she got - at which point he clarifies - "the one after we made love" - as I said never happened! Boy Sebby you must be on some pretty strong meds - all this hallucinating. Maybe you should readmit yourself to the hospital - maybe you could be
across the hall from Eve! Anyway, Ellen admits the call was from Matt - and why can she be honest with Sebby - way more honest than she's been with Matt??? Ellen tells Sebby - last night was sooo wonderful - wow that must have been some delicious food! Sebby tells Ellen to go to
Matt - New Orleans can wait. His understanding makes her care even more - but Sebby isn't giving her up without a fight. Before she leaves, she must share that "last night was glorious" - Ohh, I get it - they must have had chocolate for dessert!

Victor - looking oh so serious in a trenchcoat and a beret - and Scott show up at DV's. DV tells them the woman that came to his office was named Eve and couldn't be Lucy - she was all dirty. Scott insists it *was* Lucy. DV -all shocked-like- is oh so surprised by this news and says he gave the woman $100. If he'd known it was Lucy - of course he would have called the police. Out in the hallway - Victor notes that he has a top of the line security system - but breaking in isn't out of the question. DV tells Lucy that to help her regain her memory they need to take a trip.

Chris interrupts a fawning K'Eve - thank you Chris! He tells her that the endometriosis isn't extensive, the tissue will be removed, and that she should still be able to have children. Eve is utterly underwhelmed by this bit of news.

Matt tells Ellen he tried not to think of her, but failed. Thinking of his life in five years, he imagined her beside him. She says she wants him in her life too - but Matt isn't convinced. She had told him things weren't romantic with Sebby - but that kiss after his surgery didn't look platonic. She has no explanation - it just happened. He asks if she still loves him. When she says yes, he tells her he's willing to keep trying to work things out.

Scott has swiped some uniforms - he and Victor are now maintenance men. Victor shares his toys with Scott - his watch is a camera and his pencil is a dart gun. Victor is a sucker for gadgets. Scott is bummed - his watch only tells time. Lucy and DV leave for their trip together.

Matt - being such a smarty - points out that they don't know how long Sebby will live. Though supposedly he only has two months or less, he could live six months or even a year. Guess Ellen isn't thinking about that.

Kevy notices Eve's less than enthusiastic response to the fact that she can have children. She says having children isn't a top priority for her. Kevy feels the need to point out to her - and all us silly ironing viewers - that she "patient, kind, empathetic..." She doesn't want to have to tell a child about her hooker past. Oh, you mean "I had no other choice" isn't going to cut it? Kevy said that he didn't use to think he could be a parent, after everything that's happened in his past. But Lucy's insistence on having children made him see that part of him really wants a child. Ernie tells Eve to keep an open mind, and Eve in turn promises Kevy to keep an open mind.

Super Victor shows Scott the flashing light that shows the alarm has been disabled. As Victor discovers the place is empty, Scott comes across a photo of his mother.

And the show is OVER - and I am hightailing it back to Denial City before anyone tries to tell me any silly stories about Ellen, Sebby and a couch...
