Port Charles Update for Monday, 17-May-1999

I still can not bring myself to write a humor filled update under these circumstances. So here it is, plain and simple and to the point.

Kevin, Victor and Scott confront DV in the airport. DV denies knowing where Lucy is. Lucy tries to evade DV’s henchman. DV and Scotty begin to scuffle but Kevin and Victor break it up. DV lets the trio onto the plain to look for Lucy. An obvious set up. Seeing no other option they go to the plane.

Lucy has disguised herself in Arabic robes to hide her face. Rather then go straight to the police, Lucy rambles at the ticket counter and is discovered by the bad guy. He takes her away and injects her with something that makes her pass out.

Scott and the boys see that Lucy is not on the plane. DV remains smug. Scott confronts DV about the files he kept on them and the pictures of his Mom. DV avoids the issues. Scotty presses. DV is stung when Scotty brings up Meg. Scotty insults DV by telling him he was unimportant to Meg. She never kept pictures of him. Scotty and Victor leave the plane. Kevin (in his best “don’t you know my brother was a serial killer voice”) threatens DV. After Kevin leaves DV says “You have no idea what I have in store for you.” I guess raping and kidnapping Lucy is only the start for DV. Why he has plans for Kevin god only knows. Maybe DV fooled around with Kevin’s mother also.

Scotty gets a call saying Lucy is at the police station. Victor is skeptical. DV planted the call. DV smuggles Lucy onto the plane. In a very LML moment we get a flashback from two days ago. DV remembers “Evie” shouting from the balloon about how she cares for him (of course we don’t get a flashback of him RAPING her).

DV gets a call from airport security saying they have his passport. DV leaves to get the passport. Scotty gets on the plane as Victor and Kevin distract DV. Seems that Victor was the one who pilfered DV’s passport. Scotty takes off in the plane with Lucy. The dynamic trio was not fooled by the fake phone call from the police. DV is not a happy man. Lucy wakes up and is thrilled to see Scotty. Scotty calls DV to rub in his victory. They both vow that this is not the end, alas it is just the beginning (Hip, hip, hooray – just the beginning -- I can hardly wait -- that was sarcasm if you couldn’t tell).
