Everyone get out your hankies - it's Mary and Victor's wedding day. And a fine day it is too. Our very special episode begins with Victor, looking mighty dapper, waiting for his bride as the music plays. Audrey comes down the aisle, and then Courtney, who is arranging things, arranges for Kevin and Eve to come next. Lucy remarks that it is "funny" how things turn out. Kevin hugs his father.

Courtney and Mary compliment each other on looking beautiful. Karen is unsmiling as Courtney blissfully takes Joe's arm and walks down the aisle. Neil and Serena are next - most definitely the most charming couple so far. Frank is happy to be walking his Mom down the aisle - awwww he's almost Frankish (pre DL-56). Victor is amazed at the sight of his beautiful bride (wait let me get out my Kleenex here). The crowd stands up (sniff, sniffing). The wedding march plays.

Audrey reads a prayer from St. Francis (no - that was not a sarcastic remark about our Frankie). Frank, Courtney, Joe and Eve continue with the prayer - Matt and Ellen hold on to each other's hands. My guy Kevy (looking pretty dapper himself) finishes the prayer. Victor reads Mary his "I waited so long for you" quote. Mary chooses Victor for her husband and promises never to take him for granted (sniff, sniffing still). They exchange rings with further heartfelt declarations of love and foreverness. Victor is near tears. The priest declares them husband and wife. The priest presents "Victor and Mary Collins."

The festivities move into a tent filled with food and punch and all sorts of good things. Karen comments on how Courtney really outdid herself. Courtney remarks that although she had to have Karen's bridesmaid dress "taken in", it does look good on her. (Modest does not equal Courtney - I looked it up in my dictionary). Scott and Lucy discuss wedding plans. Karen finds out Neil doesn't know she and Joe aren't getting married. Joe is still trying to get used to the idea himself. Scott is sympathetic to Karen's love troubles, he's been there and has done that (once or twice or three times or....)

I get a Kevin/Lucy moment! (Tammy does happy dance cause she is in denial that big something or another on Lucy's finger). My - and don't they look great talking to each other. Sigh. Okay - Lucy is thanking Kevin for rescuing her (again) and Kevin is happy Lucy is there (of course he is ). Kevin tries to look unaffected by Lucy's marriage news (but I for one saw straight through him.) Kevin says he is open to what the universe has to offer. Scott and Eve break in on the Kevin/Lucy moment (of course). Lucy doesn't want to talk about DV.

Victor and Mary dance. As do Kevin and Eve. Gail mentions to Scott and Lucy her and Lee's twentieth wedding anniversary is Friday. Audrey suggests they do something special for Lee and Gail. Lark dances with Daddy Frank. Kevin and Eve discuss the S/L engagement and then just have to kiss. Scott tells Joe he is disappointed in him. Scott is getting all hot and bothered and Lucy has to remind him it's not the time nor the place. Kevin proposes a very nice and eloquent toast to Mary and Victor. Karen is left out of the happy couple's kissing montage.

Lucy gets the boquet. Karen informs Eve she is fed up with Courntey. Mary hugs her boys goodbye. Courtney makes one snide remark too many and Karen makes hers - and I am sure several other people's - wish come true by pushing Courtney right into the water. Karen is having fun now (and way to go Karen I might add!). Everyone stares. Eve has a feeling of deja-vu. Kevin notices sadness and joy on Eve's face at once. He knows exactly what he wants to write for his next book. But you will have to wait until tomorrow - because pop this episode out of the toaster - it is done!

Until next time -

Tammy
