Port Charles Update for Tuesday, 29-Jun-1999

At the lighthouse, Kevin is sorting through all the shredded paper. Eve thinks that maybe the reason Victor left was exactly what he said in his letter. But she did get the impression earlier that Mary was trying to hide something. Kevin finally tells her about Victor's years as a spy. Kevin thinks he knows Victor very well now and knows he wouldn't leave his family on a whim. He must have felt his staying would put those he loves in danger. While talking about fathers being out of their lives for a long time, Eve wonders how she would react if her father reentered her life. Mac comes by and Kevin tells him everything about Victor, including his double life as Bill Dyson. Mac says he'll do all he can to help, including using some of his WSB contacts. Eve looks through the computer disks and finds nothing but games so far.

Julie calls Chris to find out how her baby is. He is vague. Julie wants details. Chris says Lucy is doing a good job. Julie wants to get out of Ferncliff. Chris says Lee will be replaced soon as her guardian. After Chris hangs up, Lee confronts Chris about his court summons. Lee is going to fight Chris in court. He knows Chris is after Julie's money. Chris calls Julie to tell her about Lee getting the summons and how upset he got. Chris thinks his attorney, Leopold, will be able to do everything Julie needs, including getting Chris back into Ferncliff to see her.

Chris comes to the lighthouse to see Kevin. He wants Kevin to help him get back into Ferncliff. Kevin reminds him that none of Julie's friends are allowed in to see her. Chris says he wouldn't be going as her friend, but as her fiancee.

At the fire house, Lucy asks Scott who brought the video tape from DV. He tells her a messenger and she gets very nervous and tries to stall him from watching it. Scott goes to see if Christina is ok and Lucy watches the video of her with DV. When Scott returns, she seduces him to keep him from watching it. After their afternoon delight, Scott goes to watch the video tape while Lucy squirms. The doorbell rings and as Scott answers it, Lucy ruins the tape and pops it back in. When Scott discovers it's broken, he leaves to go and see DV. Lucy calls DV and asks him to come over. He asks if they enjoyed the tape and Lucy tells him it was ruined. He tells her not to worry. He has plenty of copies. When DV arrives at the fire house, he teases Lucy about her domesticity. She thought they had an understanding. She was surprised that he sent the tape. He says he did it because he has a bone to pick with Scott. She asks what it's going to cost her to keep those tapes from Scott. Scott goes to DV's hotel room. No answer, so he uses his credit card to get in. Inside, he sees the tapes and picks one up.
