Port Charles Update for Wednesday, 30-Jun-1999

Well, it's time to update another fun-filled episode of PC. And yes, it IS a fun-filled episode, cause today's show includes Chris AND Shirtless Frank, both very nice things to see in a PC episode!

The show begins with Eve yelling at Chris for wanting to marry a serial killer, and Chris basically ignoring her. He says they both know what it's like to be the town pariah, therefore they're a perfect match. Uh, yeah -- whatever. Chris wants Kevin to help him get in to see Julie -- he wants to talk to Julie first. Eve just stands there with her trademark wide-eyed, open-mouthed stare, and Chris turns to her and says "Close your mouth, you'll attract flies." ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We get our first glimpse of NuKaren, and this bizarre voice comes out of nowhere telling us that someone else is now playing the role of Karen. As if we're not intelligent enough to figure that out for ourselves. Any bets as to how long before Karen is having couch sex which some guy she barely knows? Anyway, Frankie-baby, everyone's favorite voyeur, is spying on Karen through his telescope, even though he has no real reason to do so any longer -- well, none that doesn't involve using the word ‘pervert' to describe Frank, anyway. Karen calls him and invites him over -- he accepts.

Lucy is with DV -- she wants him to destroy the tapes. He wants HER to break off her engagement to Scott. Am I the only one who is totally sickened by this guy? No, not in the way of "Boy, that DV is SUCH a nasty boy, he's SUCH fun to watch" either. I mean -- "Go away you toad, you make my skin crawl" type of feeling. Oh well . . . .

Scott breaks into DV's suite and steals tapes from him . . . . .

Back to DV and Lucy -- DV once again makes me want to hurl. He tells her that if she REALLY loved Scott, she'd never have slept with him, amnesia or no amnesia. You know, the only form of punishment fitting for this guy, IMHO, would make him incapable of having ANY kind of sex with any woman for the rest of his life! What a total piece of human garbage he is! Lucy tells him she's going to tell Scott everything -- just then Serena walks in. Now the pedophile side of DV appears -- have I mentioned how much this man turns my stomach? Serena's not happy to see him -- DV leaves (good riddance, too!), and Lucy says that she'll be the one to tell Scott he was there.

At Karen's, Frank shows up with flowers. Boy, these two are about as fascinating as Joe and Karen were. Take that however you want to take it.

Chris talks to Julie on the phone -- she needs to convince Kevin to let him see her.

At the lighthouse, K&E are looking for any clues as to how to find Victor. Julie calls. Eve says she'll continue looking, and tells Kevin to go see Julie.

Frank and Karen are toasting marshmallows, then horse around with the water hose and get each other wet. Frank takes off his shirt, which was truly the highlight of the episode, LOL! They almost kiss, but not quite. Frank leaves.

DV, at his suite, realizes that Scott took his tapes.

We then go to the firehouse, where Scott walks in with the tapes.

At GH, Eve and Chris talks. Eve asks Chris if he loves Julie. He says yes. She doesn't buy it.

At Ferncliffe, Julie and Kevin talk. Kevin asks Julie about Chris. She says he's been her rock through all of this. She wants Lee removed as her guardian. Kevin doesn't seem too cooperative about helping her. He leaves, and Julie privately threatens Kevin after he's gone for not being willing to help her.

Frank the peeping tom is spying on Karen AND talking to her, and hey -- she SEES him!!!!!!! BUSTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At the lighthouse, Serena tells Scott that DV was there, thinking that Lucy had already told him.
