Port Charles Update for Wednesday, 14-Jul-1999

Hi fellow PC fans:

Featured on the show: Frank, Julie, Chris, Karen, Neil, fake Joe, Courtney, Kevin, Eve, Mr Zorin, and two Americans name Fred and Wilma who shared a jail cell with Kevin and Eve. Also a housekeeper who does a mean Bruce Lee imitation.

Here's today's update:

Frank calls Julie to congratulate her
on her engagement to Chris. He wanted
to know what Chris is getting out of
it. Julie tells him that they're in
love and that's why they are getting
married. (yeah sure)

Neil is at the hospital for his
treatment and runs into Karen. He
thanked her for the tapes. Then he
leaves with his parents.

Kevin and Eve are in jail in Rome.
Kevin is in a jail cell with a guy name Fred from LA. Eve is sharing a cell
with Wilma. (See the pattern here)?
They each explain to them about Victor. Kevin gets set free.

Karen and fake Joe have a conversation. he thanks her for being on Neil's case and for taking him to see 98 Degrees. (sorry, never heard of them). Fake Joe asked her why she didn't come in. Karen flashes back to his and Courtney's kiss. She just tells him that she had a early call.

Julie calls Chris to tell him about her conversation with Frank. She tells him that Frank said that Chris took the her money. (he does have it). Julie then tells him that they need Greg Cooper to say that he brainwashed her into thinking she committed the murders.

Frank confronts Chris about why he's marrying Julie. He thinks Chris is being paid to marry her.

Courtney tells Karen that she's a good doctor. She tells her that Neil needs a stable home and that her coming between fake Joe and her will hurt Neil. (it would hurt her more). Courtney basically tells Karen to back off fake Joe. (Why Karen would want him, I'll never know especially when Chris is available)

Kevin and Eve are out of jail and head back to their hotel. They find Mr. Zorin in their room. Kevin thinks that he is responsible for Victor's death. (I refuse to believe that Victor is dead). Kevin throws him out of the room.

Fake Joe wants to discuss Neil's case with Karen. He wants to have coffee with her. She tells him that she saw him kiss Courtney. He tells her that she kissed him. Karen's relieved and they leave to have coffee together. Courtney is looking on the background not too happy.

Frank breaks into Chris' apartment. He's looking at some of Chris' files.

DV gets a phone call asking about Kevin and Eve. He wants an update. A housekeeper comes to their room to changed the linen and suddenly she turns into Bruce Lee and nearly kicks Kevin. He puts up a chair and she breaks it. He wrestles with her but she pushes him away. Eve then jumps her wrapping a curtain over her head while Kevin hits her over the head with a vase knocking her out. They are now convinced they are in danger. (Boy, that's the first time I ever enjoyed a Kevin and Eve scene).
