Port Charles Update for Thursday, 22-Jul-1999

Today's show was NOT a Chris day -- this upsets me SO much, because 1) ALL days I have the update should be Chris days, and 2) 15 minutes of K'Eve and their brilliance. Gag me.

Well, the show begins with Karen and Jethro -- oops, I mean Joe -- wanting to set up tests for Neil. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

At the firehouse, Lucy invites Scott to a baseball game. Okay, whatever.

Kevin and Victor, in the DUMBEST storyline I've EVER seen, try to make a psychic connection with Eve. You know, Jon and Nicholas have gotta be looking at these scripts in TOTAL disbelief . . . this is BEYOND idiotic!

Eve is being mentally tortured -- best part of the show! She's told Kevin is dead -- and cries. Boo-hoo. I'm SO upset that widdle Evie-kins is suffering (she says while cackling with glee!)

Courtney puts up a stink about taking a blood test for Neil -- got something to hide there, Courtney???????

Lucy and Scott at baseball game -- VERY cute guy sitting in front of her. Who proceeds to yell at Lucy while she's talking on her cellphone checking on Christina. I really don't know what he needs to HEAR at a baseball game, but . . . . .

More Kevin/Eve/Victor stupidity.

Courtney and Karen and Courtney being paranoid. (See a pattern here? Sorry -- this episode was a major snoozefest.)

AGAIN more Kevin/Eve/Victor stupidity. (WHY is SH making me not interesed in VICTOR now????? Is NOTHING sacred anymore???)

Karen and Joe again -- zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Courtney on phone, trying to deviously find a way to get the results of test before Karen does. Gee -- you think this means something???

Lucy and Scott at firehouse -- they kiss, Scott pulls away. Maybe she's not 'ready'. For cryin' out loud, they did it on a PLANE the day he rescued her!!!!!!!!!

DV talking to someone about Christina -- we don't see her, but are lead to believe he's talking to someone claiming to be Christina's mother. And I'd bet money it AIN'T Julie!

Kevin makes a connection with Eve somewhat -- oh goody! Victor comments that it's difficult because the enemy must be honing in on their psychic brainwaves or some gibberish like that. Gee -- and here I thought the "Psychic Friends Network" was just some phone scam where Dionne Warwick and a bunch of people who can't get real jobs try to fleece your average stupid human being out of tons of money. But no, it's REAL!!!! Whatever. You know, it's crap like this that makes my belief in life on other planets even stronger -- cause they're smart enough not to try and establish contact with us!!!!!

Well, that about does it for today's show -- I'm off to the PC fan gathering tomorrow!
