Port Charles Update for Tuesday, 3-Aug-1999

Hi fellow PC fans,

First of all, I want to apologize for being a day late. I worked the night shift and I was too tired to write it. I tried to post this earlier but while I was checking for typos, it got deleted. Trust me, I wasn't happy. Jeff, honey you might want to install a spellcheck here. (Just a suggestion).

Featured players: Scott, Lucy, Rachel, Chris, DV, Amanda Barrington, Katherine Bell, Mr. Blackwell, Kevin, Eve. Also, a couple of familiar faces I haven't seen in who knows how long. I think it was Matt and Ellen, but I have to double check my tape.

Here's the update:

Scott and Lucy are preparing to go to the charity fashion show. Scott asks baby Christina if he's going to win best dress or worst dress. (cute) Lucy tells him what a stud he was the night before. (spare me). Their plan is in motion to embarrass DV at the fashion show.

Speaking of DV, he's on the phone talking to someone about Kevin and Eve. He has planted false memories about Victor. Speaking of Kevin of Eve, (snore), Kevin is still upset that his father is gone. Eve asks what she can do to make it easier. (You mean besides jumping his bones)? Kevin just wants his father back. Eve suggest going back to Port Charles.

Scott and Lucy arrive at the fashion show. Lucy is nervous about the dress she's wearing. (I think she looked great in that dress). Scott assures her that Mr. Blackwell will like the dress and her in it. Amanda Barrington arrives and compliments Lucy on her dress. Lucy thanks her for allowing her to show her Serena line at the fashion show. Amanda is confident that they will raise a lot of money for the Charles Street Foundation. She leaves and Lucy spots Mr. Blackwell. He recognizes her, which surprises her. He compliments her on her work. He says that he's a fan. Lucy introduces him to Scott. He seems to know him too. Mr. Blackwell informs them that he makes it a point to know the people behind the Serena line. He compliments her on her dress. Lucy is very flattered. Mr. Blackwell mentions the child labor scandal. They're happy that it's over. Scott tells him that DV was behind it. Mr. Blackwell is waiting to see what DV has to offer. (Mr. Blackwell totally kissed butt). He leaves, Lucy and Scott are happy that they planted that dig about Bordisso.

Matt and Ellen arrive at the fashion show. (Did I say Matt & Ellen? It's been so long since I've seen them. Welcome back). Anyway, Ellen is modeling one of Lucy's dresses. (She looks fabulous in it). Lucy informs them that they just missed Mr. Blackwell.

Rachel and Chris arrive at the Grill for lunch only to be told that it's closed for a private affair. Rachel con their way in. (She's good and thinks fast). Chris goes to get them and drink. Rachel spots Scott and goes over to him. Scott introduces her to Ellen. (Rachel is flirting with Scott big time). Ellen asks Rachel if they met before. Ellen thinks she knows her.

Kevin is still upset that he didn't have enough time with Victor or was close to him. He can't tell anyone that he died for his country. He's afraid that people will remember him differently. He still hasn't told Mary. He starts to hear Victor's voice. He's also having flashbacks. (Lucky us). He decides it's time to go home.

Scott spots Chris. He makes a snide remark to him. Chris fires back. Scott is ready to give him a knuckle sandwich, but Lucy stops him. (Sparing with Chris is like a sport, it's fun to watch. No matter who's involved). Rachel comes over and introduces herself to Lucy. Scott asks her what she was doing with that knucklehead. (Come on Scott, Chris is a lot of things. But he's cute). Rachel tells them that she's Julie's new therapist.
Scott sense that Lucy was a little jealous. Matt makes a comment to Chris about cheating on his fiancee. (Wow, no witty comeback? I'm very disappointed). Rachel plays the jealous other woman. (It was funny). Rachel introduces herself to Matt. Matt apologizes. (He's so cute). Matt questions Rachel on why would Julie marry Chris. She just says that there are a lot of reasons people chose the partners they do. Ellen questions her about a woman who goes after a rich man whether he's spoken for or not. She tell her that the challenge is a turn on. (Look out Lucy). Rachel and Chris excuse themselves. Chris makes a snide remark about Ellen, which wasn't necessary.

DV finally arrives at the fashion show with Katherine Bell. They are embarrassed as they should be. (Kathy looks like she's ready to hit the playgrounds to find a new boyfriend). Mr. Blackwell comments to Amanda that the early schoolgirl look went out with early Madonna. DV tells Amanda that he was informed of a change in style. She wonders who told him that. DV and Katherine shoot daggers at Scott and Lucy. They just smiled. Katherine comfronts Lucy. This is Lucy's payback for the Nurses Ball. Kathy asks Scott he let her do this. Scott tells DV that the tides are changing for him and to get used to it. DV tells Katherine that the tides always changes back.

Rachel questions Chris about Lucy and the teeny bopper. (She is good). Old fashioned cat fight. Chris advises Rachel to steer clear of Scott. Rachel tells him that she likes to live dangerously. (We shall see).

Kevin and Eve leaves to go home. Victor is informed that Kevin and Eve are leaving with no memory of what happened. Victor agrees to cooperate with his captor.
