Port Charles Update for Thursday, 12-Aug-1999

Hi fellow PC fans,

I'm letting you know right now if
you're a Chris fan or a fan of Dr.
Locke's, don't read this update. I
will NOT be kind. You have been warned.
BTW, I am wearing my flamed retard
clothes.

Today's show featured: Matt, Ellen,
Scott, Lucy, baby Christina, Karen,
Mumbles, Rachel, Chris, Julie.

Here's today's update:

Matt and Ellen are at the Recovery Room kissing. (how sweet). Rachel walks in and sees them having breakfast. (Flashback to yesterday's show when Chris tells Rachel about Ellen's little indiscretion). She goes to their
table. Rachel asks Ellen again to
visit Julie. Matt wonders why she
would ask her to do that. Dr. Locke
tells him that Julie is making progress and she's needs their support for her to stand trial. Ellen tells Matt that Julie is saying that she's innocent. Matt tells Dr. Locke that Julie murdered one of his best friends. Rachel tell him that Julie is trying to make amends to those who she hurt. Matt thinks that it's something she and Chris would cook up. (My sweetie is so smart). He then tells to watch her back around Chris. He would do anything for a buck. (how true). He then tells Dr. Locke that Chris and Julie deserve each other and both should be locked up. (Matt, tell us how you really feel).

Scott and Lucy at the firehouse. Scott gives Lucy a gift. It's 300,000 shares of stock in David Bordisso company. It plummeted after Mr. Blackwell's bad review, so he snatched it up. Scott wants to go upstairs but the phone rings. Julie calls Scott and asked him if Lucy accepted her apology. He tells her not to call anymore.

Matt and Ellen finished breakfast and
she leaves for work. Mumbles comes over to Matt's table. Matt asks about Frank. He tells him that Frank doesn't work there anymore. Matt then asks about Mary. We know Mary is devistated. He asks if he and Ellen would come to the memorial service for Victor. He has to hire someone to
replace Frank. He tells Matt that he's expecting Karen. Matt asks if he and Karen are getting back together. Mumbles tells him that things aren't the same between them. Matt tells him that having to fight makes you stronger. (I hope you remember that later). Mumbles tells him that is is going crazy without her. Karen comes in. Matt mentions that they were talking about her. Matt then leaves for work. (Someone's head is going to roll because Matt was on for more than 20 seconds). Mumbles tells her that she is a good doctor. (snore)

Lucy is showing the stock certificates to Christina. She calls her Christina Baldwin. (Jumping ahead of yourself, aren't you girly)? The phone rings and it's Julie again. She's wondering if Scott told her that she called. Julie again apologizes to Lucy and tells her that she isn't responsible for her actions. (yeah, sure). She asks about the baby. Lucy tells her she has to go Julie then reminds Lucy that she made mistakes and she turned her life around. She wants the same chance. Lucy hangs up the phone. (Lucy was totally getting the creeps talking to Julie). Scott slides down the firepole. (looks like fun). He asks who was on the phone. Lucy tells him it was Julie. Scott calls it harassment. He then tells her that Dr. Locke is trying to get Julie declared sane to get a new trial. Scott wants to celebrate the Bordisso thing by buying lunch. Serena decides not to take Dirty Kitty with her and leaves it on the couch. They leave.

Rachel runs into Chris at the hospital and she tells him more lies that Matt and Ellen is bad mouthing him. (She's a real bitch). She totally twisted Matt's words around. Chris is of course buying her lies. (Chris, you are being played like a violin).

Mumbles is working very hard at the Recovery Room. Karen offers to help him out. The Baldwins arrive at the Recovery Room for lunch. Scott asks about Mary. Mumbles asks Serena to help him cook. Scott asks Karen why she visited Julie. Karen told him that she did call and apologize for being hostile. Scott says Julie is crazy and belongs in the funny farm. Lucy tells him to calm down and to celebrate Christina's first lunch date out.

Julie is on the phone with Dr. Locke. She tells her that Scott and Lucy blew her off again. She's trying to make amends. Rachel tells her that she knows how to handle problems like that. She will see her later. Rachel hangs up and Ellen appears at the Nurses Station. She apologizes for pushing her to visit Julie. She now wants to be friends with Ellen. (yeah, right). She's still convinced that she can get Ellen to change her mind. Ellen tells her that it will take more than coffee and doughnuts to get her to change her mind about Julie. (Rachel, you don't seem to know the difference between Ellen and Chris. Chris is buying your bull, Ellen isn't).

Matt informs Chris that they are on OR rotation together. Matt think a patient surgery should wait until tomorrow. Chris disagrees. Then he questions Matt if it's because of the patient or him. (did Dr. Locke totally screwed with your head)? Matt says something about putting patients first before personal issues. Chris tells him that he can't fault him as a doctor. Matt reminds him that the virus he created resulted in two deaths, so of course he will question anything medical with him. Chris starts to get personal now. (I noticed that everytime he loses the battle of words he gets personal, since he has nothing else. Just because you disagree about a patients medical treatment, it didn't have to get personal). He then tells Matt that Ellen slept with Sebastian. Matt doesn't believe him but Chris says it's true. (You're a real jerk Chris).

Karen and Mumbles are at the Recovery
Room. Karen waves her tip money
in his face. They are working their way back together. (snore)

Ellen runs into Matt. They kiss and she tells him that they both have the weekend off and was about to tell him about a B&B, but she notices that he has somthing on him mind. Matt asks Ellen point blank did she sleep with Sebastian. (He doesn't beat around the bush. That's what I love about him. I will be crying for him tomorrow when he hears her answer).

Dr. Locke gives Julie a gift of perfumed lotion and she assures her that Scott and Lucy won't be a problem.

Scott, Lucy, Serena and Christina come
home and found their home has been broken into. Serena is scared. She then discovers that Dirty Kitty is missing. Nothing else is missing. (Who would steal a stuff cat)? Scott thinks it's DV's doing.
