Port Charles Update for Tuesday, 17-Aug-1999

Our episode begins with Kevin staring at a picture of his "late" father. He and Eve discuss how weird the things Mac said to them were - and how different from their memories. Serena and Scott come back from camp, Serena cheerfully singing "28 bottles of root beer". She made S/L something - but when she looks in her backpack her sand art has been replaced by a picture of Meg. Scott looks way unhappy. Lucy is also cheeful - singing to Christina and babbling about nursery rhymes when she realizes the brakes don't work - and the car is apparently devoid of emergency brakes. She swerved - a big noise - and roll the pictures! Hi Kevin!

Okay pictures over. Mac comes over to see Kevin (dressed in a very nice shirt btw - that's me with an eye for detail LOL) and Eve and tells him his notes taken during his phone conversation with Kevin has disappeared along with all records of phone conversations to embassies etc etc. All three are all baffled. Lucy is taken in with minor injuries and brought up to see the imaginary couple of Karen and Chris. Lucy is all worried about Christina - as is Chris who leaves to go check on her. Scott and Serena discuss ghost stories. Lucy calls Scott with news of her accident. Scott believes DV was responsible.

Lucy insists on taking full responsibility for the accident - even after Scott tells her it wasn't her fault. Enter Garcia - oh how I am gonna miss that man! - summoned by Scott who takes him aside and demands to know what the police are going to do about DV. Chris and Karen finally bring Christina to Lucy - actually it's Chris who has Christina cradled in his arms. Karen gives a public service announcement about car seats.

Scott informs Garcia that if he does nothing about DV then Scott will. Kevin thinks he is going crazy but Eve knows he is not. Kevin has a memory flash of Zorin informing him Victor keeled over from a stroke in a dark alley without his passport. Hypnosis is the way they realize. Since Kevin can't hypnotize himself, Eve volunteers to be the one.

Serena asks if she and Christina can sleep with Scott and Lucy and they all agree. Scott intends to go after DV and Lucy doesn't want him to. It's our lucky day 'cause Garcia drops by again to inform Scott that the brake line was indeed cut - but there is nothing that can be tied to DV. Scott gets a phone call from an altered voice stating "History repeats itself". Eve is all under and remembering the plane ride and the first encounter with Zorin. Eve remembers being kidnapped.
