Port Charles Update for Monday, 30-Aug-1999

Hi PC fans,

Well, this is my last update. I really enjoyed writing them but lately the show is becoming too painful to watch. I just hope I didn't offend anyone with the sarcasms. Those are what makes the updates fun to write. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my finale. BTW, expect some sarcasms. Hey, I wouldn't be me without them.

Here's today's update:

On today's show: Matt, Garcia, Scott, Lucy, Christina, Karen, Chris, Mumbles, Kevin, Eve, Rachel, DV

Eve surprises Kevin with a candlelight dinner. Sort of bringing Palau to them since they couldn't go because of Victor. They kiss. (YUCK)! Eve's setting a romantic mood with hawaiian music. (Like that's necessary. They'll do it anyway, even in rush hour traffic).

Mumbles arrive at Karen's and finds that her apartment has been ransacked. Karen's convinced that Scott is right about Bordisso being dangerous. (Father knows best).

Dull and duller, I mean Kevin and Eve are getting more gross. I mean romantic.

Matt is at the hospital trying to page Ellen. Rachel arrives at the Nurses' Station and hears Ellen getting paged. She then flashes back to friday's show when Ellen asked her if she ever went by a different name. Matt tells a nurse that he needed her for a patient consult and to call him on his cell phone. Chris arrives at the Nurses Station and Rachel asks him if he ever goes home. He was supposed to have the night off. Chris tells her that Ellen didn't come in for her shift and that he's covering for her. Rachel asks him to help her move into her new apartment.

Karen is looking around her now messy apartment to see if anything's missing. She discovers that the necklace that her mother gave her when she graduated med school is missing. (Where is Rhonda)? She's upset of course and Mumbles is doing his best to comfort her. They hug. Mumbles wants to call Scott and tell him what happened.

Scott, Lucy and Christina are at Lucy's Aunt Charlene's house. Scott thinks her aunt is looney. Lucy is sharing memories of her aunt growing up. She felt that DV never existed. Scott gets a call from Mumbles telling him what happened to Karen's apartment. He then hands the phone to Karen. Scott tells Karen that after the police leave, he wants her to go and stay with Joe until he gets home. Karen doesn't want him to leave Lucy and the girls. Scott's mind is made up. Lucy picks up Christina and goes to pack Scott's bag.

Kevin and Eve getting gross again. (like we really needed to see this). I FF through it. Sorry.

Matt runs into Monica Quartermaine and asks about Ellen. She tells him that Ellen had resigned mid shift and accepted the job in San Francisco. She just left without saying goodbye. Matt is totally shocked. (He looks so good). Monica apologized to him saying that she's sorry that he had to find out this way.

Rachel and Chris arrives at her new place. Chris recognized that it's Ellen's apartment. He's quite shocked. Rachel explained to him that Ellen took the job in S.F and was needed there immediately and she sublet her apartment. (I really hate this woman).

Karen is still upset. Lee and Gail are out of town and Mumbles tries to convince Karen to stay at the Scanlon house. He invites her to stay in Julie's apartment. He also said (I think) that he will run interfere with Frank. Karen agrees. (Sorry, Mumbles needs to yell more. That's the only time I can understand him).

Matt arrives at Ellen's apartment and finds Chris and Rachel there. He wants to know where Ellen's things are. Rachel tells him that she took them with her. Matt demands some answers. (He's even adorable when he's angry).

The police finally arrive at Karen's apartment. Garcia questions Karen. (Garcia's on, yay). Garcia tells Mumbles that they are going to dust for fingerprints. Karen discovers a stuffed frog on the floor. She tells Garcia and Mumbles that Frank tried to give it to her earlier at the hospital but she wouldn't take it. She wonders how did it end up at her apartment.

Scott is still packing to go back to Port Charles. Lucy tells him to send Karen her love and that she's thinking about her. She then tells Scott that she misses him already. Scott tells her that this is the last time he's going to say goodbye to her. They kiss and say goodbye. Lucy watches as Scott drives away.

Kevin and Eve are still playing kissy face. (Totally gross). Eve imagines that she's kissing DV. (Double gross). DV says that he knows her secret. Eve pulls away and Kevin is wondering what's the matter?
