Port Charles Update for Wednesday, 1-Sep-1999

*Please forgive me if this update is too long. This is my first ever. However I've watched Port Charles since it began. So read and enjoy.*


Port Charles September 1, 1999

Starring: Scott Baldwin, Dr. Chris Ramsey, Julie Devlin, Dr. Karen Wexler, Dr. Joe Scanlon,
Dr. Rachel Locke, Dr. Matt Harmon, David Bordisso, and Detective Alex Garcia.

Scene One: Ferncliff

Chris is waiting at the hospital visiting Julie. She is worried about Christina and the fact that she is out of town with Lucy. Chris tries to calm her by saying he would be looking for her if he thought she was in real danger. She asks him if he means it. Chris avoids the question by saying that the plan is working and that she has a great team working for her freedom. Their next order of business is setting a wedding cate. Julie smiles with delight.

Scene Two: Karen's apartment

Karen is sleeping in the bed and wakes up to see Joe standing by the window. Karen and Joe talk and reconnent when the a knock at the door interrupts. Joe answers it and Scott enters. Scott tell Karen that DV will never get to her again.

Scene Three: Karen's apartment

Karen explians to Scott what happen the night of the break in. Karen mentions that Frank was a suspect. Scott says he will be going to see DV and straighten a few things out. Another knock at the door: Rachel. She enters and says she is living in Ellen's old apartment since she has moved to California. Joe and Karen are surprised by Ellen's sudden departure. Scott tells Rachel that he knows who was behind the break-in and will take care of it.

Scene Four: Ferncliff

Chris and Julie are talking about the wedding plans. Julie wonders why Chris is in a rush. He explians that since they will be married he can't be forced to testify against her. Julie and Chris each say what the other will dress. They plan to invite everyone who hates them. They want to have fountian pens like the one used to murder Bennett Devlin and copies of "General Homicide" for every wedding guest. "The marriage will be Port Charles's worst nightmare." Julie says as the scene fades.

Scene Five: Ferncliff

Rachel arrives and tells the couple that soon they will be free to wed. Chris kisses Julie and exits for the hospital.

Scene Six: General Hospital

Karen walks up to Matt and tell him that Rachel visited her. Matt isn't surprised. Matt tells Karen the detials of Ellen's move. Karen tells Matt a story about her image of love. Matt says he wanted to work things out, but Ellen was already gone.

Scene Seven: David Bordisso's hotel room

DV answers the door and an angery Scott enters and smashes a table. Joe follows. Just then Garcia enters and says he is questioning DV. Scott tries to attack DV, but Garcia stops him by reminding him he is on probation and could go to jail. Scott is forced to leave.

Scene Eight: General Hospital

Scott and Joe discuss how to get to DV, but Scott says he is a one man team. Karen overhears the end of the talk and asks what plans they have for her. Karen then says she is staying at her apartment. Scott and Joe try to talk her out of it, but she refuses. Joe and Karen talk for a while.

Scene Nine: Ferncliff

Rachel and Julie talk about her hopes for freedom. Rachel asks to be invited to the wedding. Rachel asks if she is happy to marry Chris. Julie gives a lame answer and Rachel tells her that Julie and Chris have a secret.

Scene Ten: General Hospital

Chris, Matt, and Karen are around the nurse's stations. Chris is happy by the departure of Ellen. He gives Matt a letter posted marked from New Orleans. Matt reads it and learns that Ellen didn't go to California. She went to New Orleans to decide what she should do with her life. She asks them not to follow her. Karen consoles Matt.

Scene Eleven: The Fire House

Scott's cell phone rings. Lucy is calling to get an update. He explians a few things to Lusy then talks to Serena and Christina for a moment. Lucy gets back on the phone and Scott tells her that DV will never get to their family again. He hangs up and looks at a picture of him and Lucy. Scott checks the answering machine and sees Julie called and says she needs to talk to him about Christina. Scott is schocked.
