And now... another update from a 42 year old male.
As mentioned in last Friday's update, if you don't like an occasional opinion, Don't worry about it! Remember that we men would NEVER watch a soap opera... I mean, how can that be??

Anyway, as I settle down with my wife for dinner and PC, I find myself filled with spaghetti and sauce (Ragu) as Scott, Kevin and Eve enter an unknown room someplace. Scott harumphs about giving Bordisso a punch for anything he does, as Kevin reminds anybody who will listen that they'll just have to be patient about Victor's memory, and the PC audience will have to just remain patient about the threesome's newly found idiocy. (Surely Victor didn't fool anybody, did he?)

The fact that Victor may have faked complete memory loss never crosses anybody's mind.

Out of the blue, Scott receives a phone call telling him to come and meet "one of his guys" to check out a possible Christina parental clue. Scott's on his way muttering about Bordisso all the while.

Meanwhile Courtney smells a rat. After she takes her mind off herself, she's also annoyed over Frank's sudden supply of riches. She tries to trace back his phone call, run through Frank's jacket pockets, and even tries the novel approach of actually asking him. Nothing works! And Frank definitely has something on his mind.... I think it might be haze. He displaces the fog long enough to whine that Neil doesn't judge him and that he wasn't going to allow Joe to play daddy forever. Courtney, saying that she notices that Frank's visage definitely changes when he looks after Neil, is actually thinking of ways to spy on Frank.

Bleahhhh, what a story.

Anyway, we return to Kevin and Eve. Eve's wondering if her son is still alive and - (hey, might as well go overboard) - needing her help. She even goes as far as wondering if the baby might have been sold in the black market. I'd go on with this scene at this point, but ... well ... we'll be coming back to it anyway - so let's go and find out what happens to Scott. Besides I needed to pour something to drink for myself.

Well, look who's there to greet him... it's Rachel!! Greetings Scott! Whoa, who's that, over there? Why it's Bordisso, giving Scotty a little taunt... FIGHT FIGHT!! Aw geez, there's Garcia threatening Scott with an arrest just as things were getting interesting. Scott is saved from arrest by.......

Rachel??

Yup! She pretends that Scott was actually there to meet her. While we all recover from that, we are treated to a quick scene of Courtney spying on Frank. There's a noise! It's my wife snoring.

Rachel now tries to endear Scott to her position using the rescue as a kind of proof of her friendship to Scott. Her position of course is that Julie really is just as fine and dandy as Howard Cosell and Don Meredith. She gently prods Scott to tell her more about his troubles. As the PC audience holds their breath, we go back to Eve and Kevin.

Kevin decides that Eve would be a great mom, so they should go to Philadelphia to find her delivery doctor. (Glad no one has to worry about responsibility towards the workplace around Port Charles.) Eve is ever so sweet and grateful. Just how grateful? That takes place "off-stage", because now we taken to Frank and his New Career.

Frank is seen by Courtney through binoculars (VERY good binoculars judging from the picture we saw - boy, those are no cheap unfocused binoculars...man! Love to go hiking with those!...OK OK, enough of my petty male jealousy.) Next thing you know, Frank is grabbing this poor guy by the shirt and demanding payment which he eventually gets. Frank is asked by this odd man (for some reason) if he can handle the shipments guy. Obviously everyone was waiting for this question, because immediately, everybody exits the scene. Hmmf. Okay....let's go back to Scott and Rachel.

Scott decides he's said enough and now asks Rachel about her history. She tells a very nice story of her life which could best be described accurately as waste matter from a cow's mate. But Scott looks like he might have bought it for now. (We'll see as things go on!) Bordisso takes this time to taunt Scott one more time. Scott decides Bordisso is a force of nature trying to tear him from Lucy. (No, really?) He is trusting Rachel more and more as time passes.

Men are such fools.

Kevin calls Mary. As Mary is prodded by Victor to ask probing microscopically detailed questions, Kevin finally (in true soap opera form) relents and tells Mary that to his own astonishment, he and Eve are going to Philadelphia to check up on Eve's birth doctor. Kevin would be even more astonished to see Victor (complete with vivid memory) hop up with bright terrified eyes saying "I've got to stop him!".

That's all for this show. My wife is now awake.
After all, spaghetti and Ragu sauce doesn't taste all that great cold.

Scott
