Chris visits Julie and gives her a pep talk. She thanks him for taking her to GH to see Christina. They do some serious smooching. Rachel and Mr. Monroe walk in. They tell Chris he has to leave. Chris tries to joke his way out of it, saying it was just a goodbye kiss, nothing more. Rachel informs him that he has been banned from Ferncliff. Chris protests. They are newlyweds. How can he be banned because he kissed Julie? Rachel asks Mr. Monroe for five minutes alone with Julie and Chris. She explains that Ferncliff knows about Chris taking Julie to General Hospital. The driver told how Chris bribed him. Julie wants to say it was her so Chris won't have his visiting privileges taken away. Chris won't let her do that with her hearing coming up. Rachel wishes Chris would have told her what he had planned on doing. Chris asks for time alone with Julie before he leaves. Rachel goes out the door. She pauses and slowly gets a big smug smile on her face. Chris intends to talk to Leopold as soon as he gets back to PC. Julie hopes he gets his visiting privileges restored before her trial. She needs to see him. She wonders how she got so lucky and married such a sweet guy. Chris jokes and tells her not to tell anyone that she sees that side of him. They throw caution to the wind and engage in more kissing. Julie can't imagine who would have said something to Monroe to get her into trouble. Chris leaves. Rachel waits outside the door for him. She's not surprised that someone saw Julie in the van at GH and reported it. Julie is not well-liked in PC. It will only get worse when Julie gets released from Ferncliff. People will be suspicious of Julie. Rachel says that Chris and Julie should have let her run the show and then they wouldn't be in trouble. Chris says that nobody will come between him and Julie. He wonders who saw them in the van at GH and reported it. Rachel goes back in to see Julie. She tells her that she has depended on men too much in her life. Rachel says she is there for her because she cares.

Scott and Lucy return to DV's office. With the goons and the secretary out of the way, they enter the computer room. They call Victor and are ready to proceed. Unfortunately, the computer won't turn on. While Victor tries to talk Scott through some technical repairs, Lucy finds the plug and plugs it in. Scott tells Victor that the mathematical equations are on the screen. Victor looks very happy. Scott asks how he'll know if things are working correctly. Scott and Lucy both listen on the phone as Victor says that there should be a series of beeps. When the beeps start, they are elated. They start hugging and kissing. Lucy exclaims "we beat DV!" They fly back to PC. On the way they discuss how happy they are that they can stop pretending they have broken up. They also talk about how much they were becoming like DV. Lucy says she is proud of Scott. Every time he wanted to kill DV, he walked away. Scott says he has to be honest. All he's thought about the last couple of months was killing DV for what he did to her and Serena.

Mr. Zorin comes to visit DV. He has received a call from "the top." Someone is using DV's computer to infect the project. DV thinks he knows who it is. He gets on the phone. He calls Scott in his plane. Scott, expecting Victor, is surprised to hear from DV. Scott and Lucy gloat over their victory. Scott asks DV how it feels to lose everything. DV replies "why don't you tell me?" Scott hears Lee's voice saying "Scott." DV says that since he said goodbye to the Cobra project, it was only fitting that Scott says goodbye to his father. We hear a gunshot.
