At GH, Gail tries to reassure Karen that Lee will get Scott off. Chris asks how Scott is doing. Gail gives him the cold shoulder and walks away. Chris asks Karen to do a favor for him. He tells her that his visiting privileges have been taken away. He wants Karen to be a messenger between the two of them. Karen asks what stunt did Chris pull to lose his visiting privileges. He says that he bribed the driver to let him ride with Julie to the arraignment. He reminds Karen that she and Julie are friends. Karen says they "were" friends. Chris says that he and Julie are really in love, whether Karen believes it or not. Matt accuses Chris of checking up on his patients again. Matt does a lot of coughing. Chris denies checking up on Matt, but reminds him that his recent mistake could have cost a patient his life. Matt says he was just slow in ordering a second test. He's just overworked. Matt tells Chris that his psycho wife has killed more people than any overworked physician. Chris says that, as doctors, they have to watch out for each other and point out mistakes to help each other. He would expect Matt to do the same for him. They start to get loud. Joe comes along and reminds them where they are. He says that this is a hospital - not the Jerry Springer show. Matt leaves. Chris tells Joe that Matt is so overworked that he's making mistakes. Joe thinks that Matt has a good work ethic. He says he heard about the error Matt made, but thinks he would have caught it in time. Joe tells Chris to drop it, but Chris thinks Matt is dangerous since Ellen left town.

At the police station, Taggert can't believe that Scott is being released on bail. Lucy and Lee are there for him, even though Lee still hurts from his beating. Lee reminds Scott that if DV dies, the charge will be murder. Scott is happy that he'll get to spend Thanksgiving with his family. Aunt Charlene is thrilled to see Lucy and Scott together again at the firehouse. She has brought all of Lucy's belongings to Scott's. Now she wants to return home. Lucy insists that Charlene stay in Port Charles for Thanksgiving. Lucy reminds Charlene how she was brought up to believe that what was really important at the holidays was to be with family. Charlene decides to stay and goes off with Serena to make decorations. Later, Lucy, Charlene and Serena are busy making turkey decorations when Scott brings Christina in and says he just taught her how to make an apple-pumpkin pie. Serena looks sad and wants to talk to Scott privately. She tells him she's happy to have him home but sometimes she wishes she had a normal family. Scott asks her what she means by a normal family. She says one where the father doesn't go to jail. Scott explains that DV was shot and that some of the police think he did it. He is confident that Grandpa Lee will get him off. Lee arrives. He tells Scott and Lucy that the forensics report has come in. The bullet that shot DV came from Scott's gun.

Karen visits Julie, who is surprised to see her. They do some chatting and Karen looks Julie in the eye and asks her if she murdered all those people. Julie swears she didn't. She was brainwashed. They reminisce and joke about a night that they went to a bar with Jake. Karen says that part of her hopes that Julie is telling the truth and another part of her thinks it's all a game. Julie says she's getting better, thanks to Dr. Locke. Karen starts to leave but remembers a message from Chris. She tells Julie to listen to the Ike Star show tonight. Julie lights up and talks about how Chris likes to surprise her. Karen says that she sees that Chris and Julie really do care for each other. Karen wishes Julie luck.

Matt sees a woman getting on the elevator. From behind, she looks like Ellen. Matt goes to her and calls her Ellen. Chris and Joe witness this and Chris is even more convinced that Matt is on the edge. Joe tells Matt that he thinks he's maxed out. Matt gets defensive and thinks Joe has been listening to Chris too much. Karen returns from Ferncliff. She tells Chris and Joe that her visit with Julie was very nice. Chris is happy when he hears that Karen delivered his message to Julie. When Karen and Joe are alone, he blows off steam about her visiting Julie. He doesn't like her being a go-between for Julie and Chris. He thinks it's all a scam. Karen says that she knows Chris and Julie are in love. She can see it in their eyes. It's the same look she sees in Joe's eyes.

Julie is in her bed, listening to the Ike Star show. She smiles when she hears Chris' dedication to her: from Love Bug to Pookie. The dedication mentions mental institutions and "Crazy" by Patsy Cline (I think it's her anyway) is the song. As she listens dreamily, the camera fades to Chris listening to the radio in the hospital. He is sitting at a window and also has a dreamy look on his face.
