Frank comes home to his new apartment to find Courtney waiting for him. She has hung up a picture of her and Neil and wants to decorate the empty place. Frank wants to know how she got in. She says she told the landlord that she is Frank's girlfriend and he just let her in. Frank continues to act aloof while Courtney tries to break through his icy exterior. Courtney asks if it meant anything to him when she told everyone on Thanksgiving that she needed him. He knows it will drive her crazy, so he answers no. She tells Frank that he needs her to help with his apartment. She wants to help furnish it, but Frank already has ideas of his own. Later, Frank and Courtney bring back a chair from a salvage yard. Courtney tries to pretend that she likes it and thinks it's "unique", but she doesn't fool Frank. She tries to seduce him but he resists. She starts to take off her blouse as she goes to take a shower. When she is finished, Frank watches her sensually put on lotion. Again, she tries to seduce him. This time, he weakens and starts to give in. Courtney's zipper gets stuck and they have difficulty continuing. Frank points out that there are no curtains and that neighbors could be watching them. Courtney thinks that is a turn-on. Frank admits that he wants her, but he wants her to admit that he is the father of her baby. She leaves.

At the firehouse, Scott tells Lee that the idea of DV being his father is ridiculous. Lee says they can't ignore the DNA results. Scott becomes emotional and starts to scream and rant. Lee suggests they examine the facts. One fact is that Lloyd Bentley married Meg right after DV was arrested. Is it possible that she was pregnant with DV's baby? Scott asks Lee if Meg ever mentioned anything about who his father was. Lee says they never discussed it. Lucy thinks they should consider that DV is Scott's father. Scott insists that DV is setting up everything: he rigged the DNA results as well as the forensics report about the gun. They decide that they should have an independent test on Scott's and DV's blood to determine if it is biologically possible for them to be father and son. After Lee makes arrangements for some kind of tests, Lucy wants Scott and Lee to think about some facts: Scott arrived at the crypt after DV was shot. He *accidentally* left some blood at the crime scene. DV had no way of making sure that would happen. Scott asks Lucy if she believes that DV is his father. She says no. Lee and Scott agree that Meg would have told them if Lloyd Bentley wasn't Scott's father. Scott thinks DV lives to mess with his life. Scott says his real father is Lee. He knows DV must have some dirty cops working for him. They have to get to the bottom of this. Scott calls Matt at the hospital. He asks if he'll perform blood tests, no questions asked. Matt reminds Scott how he helped him when his family came to town. He owes him. He'll do the tests.

Lucy, Scott and Lee are at GH, waiting to hear from Matt. Scott says this whole paternity issue is keeping him from focusing on the charges against him. Matt comes along and tells them that DV has regained consciousness. When Matt leaves, Scott tells Lee and Lucy that he doesn't care whether DV lives or dies.
