As DV lies on the floor of his hospital room, Rachel stands over him. She has a psychotic look on her face as she says: "tell me, DV. Who has the power now?" She walks out.

Also at General Hospital, Lucy tells Scott she *must* get back into DV's room. Scott doesn't want her to go back, but she wants to find out who Christina's biological mother is. Scott says he'll go with her. He doesn't want Lucy to be alone with DV. They enter DV's room and see him on the floor. After checking for a pulse, Scott picks up the phone and says a doctor is needed. Rachel hears the code blue call to DV's room and gets a smug look on her face. Nicole Devlin approaches Rachel. She wants to know why Ferncliff would not allow her to visit Julie. Rachel says that they require doctor approval first. Nicole expects Rachel to call and give her approval. Rachel says not until after she has spoken with Julie. Her shift is almost over. She'll go to Ferncliff today. Nicole wants to go with her. As their conversation progresses, the hostility and poorly-hidden bitchiness escalates. Lucy and Scott wait in the lounge area for news about DV. Lucy says it's ironic that they want him to live so that they can get information about Christina's mother. Scott says he doesn't care if DV lives or dies. Tony tells them that DV is alive but still unconscious. He remarks about the fact that Scott saved his life. He knows how Scott feels about DV. When Tony leaves, Scott tells Lucy that he knows he's a lot like DV. When Laura left him for Luke, he wanted revenge on Luke. He went to Mexico and drank all the time. Lucy and Scott go to DV's room and watch him lying in bed. Scott thinks he should have just let DV die on the floor. Lucy knows he couldn't ever do that. Scott reminds her of some of the bad things he's done: the blackmails, marrying Susan for money, breaking up Bobbie and Jake. Lucy knows what turned Scott's life around: Dominique. She changed Lucy's life also. She replaced all of the hatred inside Scott with love. Scott says that Dominique changed their course, but Lucy is the reason he wakes up each day. Lucy says they have won. They know that Scott is a better man than "that man lying there." They leave.

At the lighthouse, Eve finds the phone number of the clinic where Rachel worked before she came to Port Charles. Kevin calls the number and is taken aback when he hears the voice that answers. He asks if it is Ellen. He is told no, but he is convinced that it is Ellen Burgess. Eve says that a lot of people sound the same on the phone. Kevin reminds her that Ellen always thought she knew Rachel from somewhere. He also wonders why Rachel moved into Ellen's apartment so quickly. Eve thinks he is stretching a point. Why would Ellen be working at that same clinic hundreds of miles away? Unless maybe Rachel did Ellen a favor and got her the position? Kevin thinks that maybe Rachel hustled Ellen out of town. Eve reminds him that it wasn't that long ago that he thought Rachel may have pushed Ellen off a bridge. Kevin wants to find Ellen before the trial resumes. He may be able to use some information against Rachel. Eve doesn't think he can travel to Florida and back before the trial resumes. He wants to fax a photo of Ellen (I wonder which Ellen) to the clinic. Matt must have a photo. They go to Matt's. It's a mess. Eve makes an insensitive remark about a trash truck exploding there. Kevin and Eve ask Matt if he has heard from Ellen. He says he doesn't know nor does he care about Ellen. Kevin says he thinks Ellen is in Florida. He asks Matt for a picture. Matt says he may have one left. Matt explains that his apartment is a mess because he hasn't had time to clean it. He has been working a lot of extra hours. When he finds a photo of Ellen (the second one), he becomes emotional and confesses that he's missed her more than he realized. After faxing Ellen's picture to the clinic in Florida, they send a reply saying that the woman in the photo does work there, but her name is Barbara Green. Eve thinks it's just a woman who resembles Ellen, but Kevin is convinced it is Ellen and wants to go to Florida before he testifies. The woman not only looks like Ellen, but sounds like her also. Matt decides to go to Florida and find out what this is all about.

Rachel and Nicole arrive at Ferncliff. Rachel wants Nicole to wait outside the visiting room. She wants to talk to Julie first. Julie is antsy waiting for her trial to resume. Rachel tells her that she has a visitor. Julie lights up. She thinks it's Chris. She's upset when Rachel tells her that it's Nicole. She doesn't want to see her mother. Rachel insists that she let Nicole visit. If the jury thinks that Nicole supports her, they will trust her more. The jury must not sense the animosity between Julie and her mother. Julie must play the loving daughter routine. Rachel lets Nicole in. Nicole embraces Julie, but Julie just stands there. Nicole explains that she tried to get there for a visit, but wasn't allowed to see her. Julie sarcastically reminds Nicole that she has been there for a year. Julie throws little digs at her mother about how having a suspected serial killer as a daughter must have been bad for her advertising business. They discuss Julie's marriage to Chris. Nicole doesn't approve, of course. She thinks Chris is greedy. Julie asks her if she thinks she knows Chris better than she does because she slept with him. Nicole is concerned about Julie's pre-nuptial agreement. Nicole is also concerned about Rachel being Julie's doctor. Nicole feels that Rachel is manipulative. She wants Kevin to be Julie's doctor. Julie gets mad. She tells Nicole that Rachel has been more of a mother to her than Nicole was her entire life. Julie knocks to be let out and leaves Nicole alone.
