Port Charles Update for Wednesday, 26-Jan-2000

Well this is only the second update I've ever done so be kind .

Okay here we go Scott and Lucy are hurridly gettting ready to go to the court house for the reading of Julie's verdict. Scott is worried they're going to be late. Lucy reminds him they can't read the verdict till he's there. Scott tells her he's not sure what to hope for and Lucy assures him justice will be served, and for her that means Julie will go free. GO LUCY!

At the Sixth floor nurses station Eve is franticly looking for Kevin to tell him about the verdict. Matt comes up and informs her that he'll just be glad to have this behind them. Kevin arrives and Eve tells him about the verdict.

Back at Ferncliff Chris, and Rachel are trying to reasure a nurves Julie that everything is going to be okay. Julie is worried that her life may end today and she'll never get to be with Chris or Christina. She says the jury could take away her hope. Rachel tries to reasure Julie and she asks for a minute alone with Chris. Rachel looks somewhat hurt at Julie's request. But agrees and leaves the room. Chris reminds her they won't stop fighting. Julie begs him to promis that if she is found guilty that he'll let Christina know that her mother loves her and that she's not a horrible person. Chris reminds Julie to think positive but Julie needs to hear Chris promis this. Chris finelly promises looking very emotional. It was a tender moment for all C&J fans. After sharing a tender hug they head off.


Frank who had left the hospital for a shower and a change of clothes, anwsers the door to his apartment and finds a stressed out Courtney. She feels like she's being drowned. Frank is worried that it's about Neil. Courtney says he's holding his own. Frank asks her who is trying to drown her today. Courtney half smiles and says she heard Julie's verdict is in.


At the courthouse Lucy excitedly comes up to Matt Kevin and Eve telling them all about Friday and how Christina will be officailly their's. She invites the trio to a small gathering and they all say they'll agree to come. Kevin congradulates her and Lucy smiles and thanks him. A sweet moment for K&L fans. Lucy then says that she knows today must be hard for him. Kevin says while he dosn't want Julie to go to jail if she's found guilty that's where she'll go. Eve says that she could be found inocent and let out of her cage. Lucy voices her feeling that that wouldn't be so bad. Eve snaps at her about being bricked in a wall. And her and Kevin head into the court room. Matt asks Lucy if she really thinks Julie is inocent. Lucy says that she has a strong feeling that she is. Matt informed her that her feeling was wrong. Hmm I didn't realize Matt knows everything. Sorry Matt fans but I don't think it's right to tell some one that their opineun is wrong. And that's what he did. Lucy fires back and says well after today we will know.


Inside the courtroom Dara comes up to Scott and arogently says better luck next time. Scott reminds her that you're inocent untill proven guilty. Dara says that law obviusly didn't have Julie in mind. Hmm I guess she knows everything to.

Kevin then comes into the courtroom. Makes a remark about Dara not likeing Scott. Scott points out that Kevin hasn't been liking him to much lately either. Then Kevin finelly admits the only opineun that matters is that of the juries. What a novel idea to hear Kevin admit that some ones opineun besides his own carries some weight.

Julie shows up and is unhandcuffed. She asks Kevin if he brought a rope for the linching. Kevin says he just wants justice to be served today. Julie looks at him anoyed knowing what he's really saying and says so do I. GO JULIE!


Kevin leaves the aread and as Julie gose to her seat Rachel reminds her that Kevin dosn't know everything. Chris offers some encouragement. Scott says the jury is all that matters now. Chris snaps at him and tells him to be more confident. Scott says he just wants to be realistic. He promises Julie that they will apeal if she's found guilty.



Back at Franks Courtney is watching the news about Julie. She tells Frank if he wants to go to the trail that's okay with her. Frank explains that Julie is his past and she and Neil are his present and future. They kiss. Courtney is worried that Neil might die and die hating her. Frank assures her that Neil loves her and given time will forgive her. Courtney dosn't think Neil has much time left and tells Frank she should have listend to him and told Neil. Frank insists they must stay positive and that the lies don't matter now all that matters is Neil. Courtney wants to know if Frank really thinks Neil will forgive her, Frank says look at me I tried to leave you alot of times but I just keep coming back. Courtney smiles and they hug. Sweet moment for F&C fans.


Back at the Courthouse. Lee and Gail arrive. They tell Scott that they are here to support him. Scott is worried about wether or not he's done the right thing. And that he dosn't know what to hope for. Lee tells him his intentions were good and that he tried to do the right thing and that's what matters. He then informs him that if Scott is still interested they can be law partners. Scott is clearly thrilled and beems at his Dad as he excepts. A very nice father son moment between them.



Inside Lucy comes over to Julie and wishes her luck. Julie says it's nice to see a friendly face. Julie says she's suprized she's back in town. Lucy says she got back yesturday. That she couldn't stay away. Julie inquires if Christina is back as well. Lucy says yes ofcourse. And tells Julie how Christina crawls very fast across the floor. Julie smiles. Lucy talks about Friday you can see Julie is trying very hard to smile. She says she knows Christina will end up right where she belongs.


Kevin comes in and gose over to Eve. He had Mac trace the call that they recieved from the women looking for Livi. The number was traced to a huge factory. Eve says Rachel's life is a bigger puzzle then ever. Kevin worries that Julie may get away with murder. Don't you love how Kevin just knows everything. NOT!


Back at Franks Frank tells Courtney that there is no word on how Karen is doing on getting Neil back into the new chemo program but that she's very stubbern and if anyone can she can. Courtney is still worried about Neil. She is affaid Neil won't pull through. Frank tries to reasure her. they then discuss Julie. Courtney can't imagen the jury might find her inocent. Frank dosn't have as much faith in the leagal system and thinks she might be set free. Courtney is worried that Julie might come after them if she's released. Frank promises to protect both Courtney and Neil. They kiss and start to get a litttle pationate. Courtney then pulls away and says they need to get back to the hospital. They talk a little about the future Frank wants them to have. Courtney can't understand how after everthing she's done Frank still wants a family with her. Frank says he's willing to over look her flaws if she over looks his. Frank reminds her that he's not perfect either. Courtney says that as long as he loves her that's all that matters. They kiss. A very sweet seen for F&C fans.


Back at the court house. Rachel and Chris are out in the hall. Rachel dosn't like the fact that Chris is worried. She thinks he should have more faith in Julie and her. Chris says he has plenty of faith in Julie and if Rachel gets Julie off then he'll have more faith in her. Rachel tells Chris he's to emotionally involved and that makes a person volnruble. Chris tells her that isn't nesisairily a bad thing and that she should try it sometime. He gose back into the court room. Rachel stands in the hall fuming.



Julie and Scott are sitting at the table. Julie tells Scott she dosn't like how confident Dara looks and thinks Dara knows something. Scott assures her that Dara is just trying to intimidate her. Julie is scared that her life might end today. Scott tells her that when ever he is in trouble or scared he thinks of those he loves. Like Lucy, Serena and Christina. Hmm what happend to karen LOL. Julie says she can see how imagening Christina's little face would be comforting. Scott tells her to think of someone she loves. Julie tries and thanks Scott for his advice. The jury comes in and the forman says they've reached a disision. Rachel looks cool calm and collect, Chris is bitting his nailes and looking really nurves. Kevin and Eve are throwing daggers across the courtroom with their eyes. Julie looks nurves.
