Well, the first two minutes of the show today were interrupted by a brief bulletin to tell us LA area residents that -- it's RAINING!!!!!!! As if we couldn't figure that out by looking out the window! We're not all that bright here in LA, I guess . . . . .
Anyway, the show then picks up with Chris and Julie coming home -- Chris looks SO hot today, and gets even hotter as the episode progresses, so I apologize in advance for any drool that might splatter you from your computer screen. Julie is whining about Kevin being Christina's godfather. Chris tries to tell her not to worry about it, it's just a title -- he even does a ‘godfather' imitation, which is quite amusing. Then again, I'd find it amusing if Chris were to sit there and read the phone book as if it were Shakespeare, so what do I know?
Ooooh, a Kevin and Eve scene! Oh my, they're NOT having sex -- just a sec, I need to make sure my TV is on the right channel. Yep, it is. Kevin shows Eve the obituary he received, and he calls Mac. Eve believes that Julie is following him.
Back to Chris and Julie -- Chris makes Julie a martini, the lights are dimmed, and he suggests that they either go out or stay home and watch a romantic movie together. Julie opts for the latter.
At the Recovery Room, Matt, who has suddenly done a total 180, since last week I recall him practically ripping Joe a new one for what he did to Neil, is now telling Joe that he hopes he only gets a slap on the wrist. Whatever. I'm sure the Matt fans are thrilled -- their weekly glimpse of Matt, and it's a podded version of him.
At the hospital, Karen and Mary have come up with a way for Courtney to be able to hold Neil for a little while, even though he's in isolation. She goes off with Karen to be sterilized (insert your own Courtney joke here -- I'm not in the mood) and Mary gives Frank a really nice pep talk. Courtney returns, goes into Neil's room and holds him.
At the Lighthouse, Mac comes over. He says he'll have the handwriting on the obit analyzed to see if it matches Julie's.
Oooh -- the highlight of the day. Once again, I sincerely apologize for the drool. Chris and Julie finish watching the movie -- Julie is crying. Chris asks her what's wrong -- the movie had a happy ending. She says she knows they'll never end up like that -- cause she knows Chris isn't attracted to her. Chris is puzzled -- he tells her she's all he thinks about. Julie wants to know why they haven't made love -- Chris says he didn't want to push her into anything she wasn't ready for. Julie says she's ready. And they kiss. And they go into the bedroom. And -- WOW!!!!!!!! Okay, so Julie's a serial killer -- but we get to see Chris SHIRTLESS and HAVING SEX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nope, no second virginity recycling for this boy! And they have an actual love scene too -- music, clothes coming off, a variety of camera angles -- have I mentioned how absolutely HOT this man is!!!!!! You know, I'm seriously rethinking my stance on the Chris/Julie pairing -- I mean, the man has been shirtless every other day since she got released! That CAN'T be a bad thing, can it?
Frank and Courtney are in Neil's room, watching over him. Matt comes down the hall, making sure the coast is clear, and sneaks Joe by. Joe looks into the room and watches them and starts to cry.
At the Lighthouse, where K&E STILL aren't having sex (miracle of miracles), Eve leaves to -- get this -- go to WORK!!!!!!!!!!! Hmmmm . . . . a couple having sex BESIDES Kevin and Eve, Eve going to work -- anyone else waiting for Rod Serling to pop up in this episode any time now?
Chris and Julie are in bed, asleep -- God, Chris looks hot -- and Julie has a dream. She's having dinner in the penthouse with Chris -- she's in a formal, he's in a tux. Julie says in her dream that the only thing missing is Christina. Kevin walks in carrying her -- he tells her she'll never have Christina. Julie says she can, she's married now and trying to get her normal life back -- she turns, and Chris is gone. Kevin laughs, and says "You, normal -- what a joke! You'll never be normal." And he tells her that she'll only have Christina in her dreams, then disappears, and Julie wakes up, very agitated . . . . .
