Great G R E A T show !!!!

Wonderful acting, outstanding writing, superb directing and camera work.

At the reception following the christening, everyone is talking about what their favorite part of the ceremony was. Karen starts to take pictures of the group and realizes that Kevin isn't there. In the choral room, Eve and Chris can't find a pulse on Kevin. Chris opens the door and calls out to Karen. He calls on his cell phone for an ambulance. He and Eve perform CPR on Kevin who is lying on the floor with a knife protruding from his chest. Karen runs in, followed by Lucy and Scott. Chris asks Scott to get his medical bag from his car. Kevin is bleeding profusely. Karen asks Lucy to get Christina's christening blanket. Lucy tries to keep cool when she is with Serena. She finds the blanket and brings it back to the choral room, where Eve, Chris, and Karen are now covered with Kevin's blood. Lucy keeps pleading "Doc, please talk." Scott comes rushing back with the medical bag. Lee sees him running and asks what happened. Scott tells him that Kevin has been stabbed. He tells Lee to take care of Serena. We hear sirens as Serena comes along and Lee takes her away from all the action. The paramedics arrive and Chris uses "the paddle" (can't remember name for it) on Kevin to revive him. We see a dramatic close-up of Kevin's chest covered with the bloody white blanket. Eve calls the hospital to tell them that Kevin is being brought in. Scott calls Mac to inform him of what happened. The doctors leave with Kevin. Scott tries to comfort Lucy. When he is alone in the room, Scott bends down and looks at all the blood on the floor. Serena has a scene with Lee during which Carly Schroeder proves once again what a talent she is. Lee tries to cover up what happened with Kevin, but Serena knows something is wrong. She is worried that it is Scott or Lucy who are in trouble. Lee explains that Kevin had an accident and has gone to the hospital. Together, they pray for him. Mac and Scott talk about how Kevin had been receiving threats. They agree that Julie is a suspect. George, the caretaker, is brought in for questioning. He says he showed Kevin where to use a phone because his cell phone didn't work. He didn't see anyone unusual today. A few weeks ago, however, there was a break-in. Since then, security cameras were installed. Mac is hopeful. He wants to see where the cameras are. Watching the videotape, Scott and Mac see Kevin on the phone in the hall. Someone comes up behind him and seconds later, Kevin collapses on the floor. The person has long curly brown hair and is wearing a long coat. Mac says "damn it! Julie did do it!"

Frank watches Neil sleeping. He picks up a video and looks at it. Courtney comes in. She thinks that the movie may be too scary. Frank says that Neil takes after his mom and dad - he laughs at danger. Neil wakes up and says "Dad?" Frank says "right here." Neil looks at his mother and asks "is Joe around?" Neil says that Joe said he'd make him better, and he did. Neil asks who his donor was. Courtney tells him it was Christina. Neil wants to thank her. Mary and Victor arrive. They are thrilled to see how well Neil is doing. They talk about the christening. Victor explains to Neil how Kevin got the nickname, Monk. When he was a little boy, he was very active, like a monkey. After Victor gets the news about Kevin on the phone, Mary can tell from the stunned look on his face that something is terribly wrong. She wants to knows what has happened, but Victor gets her to leave the room with him.

Kevin is rushed into the emergency room. Eve, Chris and Karen are shouting orders as they move as quickly as possible. The camera work, especially the angles, is very dramatic and exciting during this whole scene. The staff has been trying to locate Monica, but no luck so far and they are running out of precious time. Eve wants to operate but is told to let the others take care of Kevin. Lucy and Gail arrive. Eve gives details to a shaken Lucy. The reality of this ER scene never fades as the level of intensity stays high, even during dialogue. Victor and Mary arrive. Lucy tells them it looks bad. Victor is very upset when he sees how pale Kevin is. Eve tells Mary and Victor about Kevin's condition. Mary is hopeful when she hears that surgery will be performed. Lucy asks why the knife hasn't been removed. She is told that it would cause hemorrhaging. The knife has punctured Kevin's heart. Eve and Victor hold each other, trembling. Matt and others start to leave the ER with Kevin. Victor asks to speak to Kevin first. He tells Kevin that Neil needs help finishing his crossword puzzle. Mary embraces Victor and tells him that Kevin will make it because he has his father's courage and strength. Scott gets off the elevator and tells Lucy that his client, Julie, was the one who stabbed Kevin.

Chris enters his apartment. The lights are out. Julie calls out "Surprise!" and brings out candles. When Chris gets closer, she sees that he is covered in blood. He tells her that Kevin was stabbed today. Julie looks shocked. There is a loud banging on the door. Mac calls out "police!" They come in and arrest Julie for the attempted murder of Kevin Collins. Julie looks at Chris. His facial expression is one of confusion, worry, disappointment, horror.
