Joe comes barging into the on call room and turns on the light where the over worked and completly exshausted residents are attempting to sleep. He orders everyone up like he has some authority. Matt tells him they haven't been alseep very long. Joe informs them they have. Chris and Joe exchange words Karen tells them both to basicly shut up and get out. Chris and Joe leave Karen barks at Joe to turn off the light. Then anounces she should have gone to buety school instead. Chris and Julie are making out a little by the nurses station when Lucy gets off the elivator with this painter guy who she's yelling at because he's late. She orders him off to work. Julie inquiers about the girls. Lucy says Serena is at school and rushes off. Julie complains that Lucy blew her off. Chris tells her Lucy just dosn't know how important Christina is to you. Julie promises that she will know. Courtney brings Danotella information on Lucy and watches like a fan crazed teen ager as Danotella critizes Lucy. She then informs Courtney she'll put this infor under T for trash. Julie finds Lucy in the hall and inquiers to how Lucy dose it all. Lucy tells her she's not sure and orders Julie to order her lunch. Julie leaves a bit annoyed. Lucy barges into Danotella's room and finds her sitting in the dark with a mud mask on. Danotella is clearly upset and throws the covers over her head and orders Lucy out. Lucy leaves the information she brought and gose quickly. Courtney and Lucy meet up and talk a bit about Danotella. Lucy complains about her and Courtney defends her a little. Lucy and Courtney go in together and Danotella quickly be littles and insults both of them. Lucy is calm but clearly annoyed and Courtney is completly obliveus. Lucy gets Courtney to leave and Bring Danotella lunch. Danotella insults Lucy a little more. Frank comes in to give Danotella her meds. Danotella can't take her eyes off him and when he leaves she tells Lucy that he's just a slive of heavan. Lucy tells her that Frank is very taken and Danotella says all the more fun or something like that so Lucy says go for it and leaves. Frank and Joe meet up in the hall. Frank coments on both of them crosing the finesh lines. Joe says he is just hear for the patents. Frank asks if Mom understand Joe says yeah. Frank coments on holy Joe being a working stiff. Joe says for now. Frank wants to give Neil his meds Joe finelly relinquishes the meds so Frank can do it. Courtney on several occasions more or less talkels Frank trying to get him to talk to her, to go in a closet and do it with her, to look at apartments with her. Finelly Frank is like I'm going to have to forgive you so I can get my work done. He kisses her on the head and gets back to work. Joe is in with a patient Chris enters and is clearly anoyed to see Joe there. They exchange words Joe complains about Chris's hand writing on a chart and Chris and him go out into the hall. Chris tells Joe not to act like that ever again and that he dosn't work there anymore. Joe tells Chris he cares about the patients Chris tells Joe to go in and drain the guys sist then. Joe gose. Julie comes up. Chris and Julie talk about there hard days. Julie is beyond stressed out and says she can't screem because she'll get sent back to ferncliff so Chris tells her to punch a forgiving person. Julie chooses Chris and slugs him in the gut. She dose feel bad about it. Chris wants to know who has her so upset. She tells him about Lucy. She worries she'll never get Christina back. Chris assures her they will. And they have a brief conversation about adding to the family. They then try to go into a closet for some TLC but find Alison Barrington listening to her radio. She is anoyed and tells them to get away. She then closes the door. Julie and Chris look at each other and laugh. Dr. Boardman yells at Karen at the nurses station because Chris and Joe nearly came to blows it isn't good for hospital image. Karen prommises to handle it. Boardman leaves. Joe gets off the elivator and sees how stressed Karen looks. Chris and Julie find an empty hospital room and begin to make love. When someone anuther doctor maybe an intern comes in and colapses on the bed next to him. Chris is like excuse me. the person says don't worry I'm to tired to here a thing. Chris and Julie leave. They end up on the roof in a blanket. Karen comes up and asks them if they have other work to do. Julie reminds Karen that Karen and Joe once snuck up here. Karen says make it snappy then says she didn't mean that the way it sounded. Julie laughs and says come on Chris boss lady has dibs on the roof. They leave. Joe comes up and sees Karen by the edge of the roof. They have a talk. Karen talks about how she is afraid that people are just seeing her as the messed up kid. And how she isn't sure she can handle this anymore. Joe assures her she is doing a good job and they'd be teating who ever was incharge like this. She thanks him for being such a good friend. It begins to rain and they go inside. Chris and Julie are in the shower about ot make love they here Chris being called but they ignore it and have very pationet shower sex.
