Port Charles Update for Thursday, 6-Apr-2000

*Chris brings Julie breakfast in bed as a reward for her "flexibility."

*Scott and Joe discuss Scott representing him at his hearing. Scott tells Joe that everything depends on whether or not Courtney and Frank file a malpractice suit. They both know how greedy Courtney is so Scott suggests that if Joe has any favors owed that he cash them in or he'll be unloading fish on the docks.

*Courtney is planning on how to spend the money from a suit she hasn't even filed yet. Frank tries to dissuade her but she's not listening.

*Lucy starts planning her run for the Board seat.

*Julie tells Chris she's quitting therapy.
(Wonder how Kevin's going to feel about that?)

*Joe tries to talk to Frank, but his arrogance and Frank's bitterness get in the way.

*Lee thinks Lucy should stick to the Nurses' Ball.

*Lucy finds that Rachel beat her to bribing Alison Barrington for her endorsement to Grandma.

*Rachel receives another voice-mail for "Livvy".
Rachel plays her trump card(Christina) when Julie says she doesn't need her anymore. This causes Julie to waver.

*Scott tells Lucy that Lee's not going to vote for her and Lucy decides that she will win over all those that doubt her.

*Frank tries to explain to Courtney what the suit would do to Joe and his mother. Courtney's not interested in anything except Easy Street.

*Julie meets Chris and she wasn't as shaken as she appeared. She tells him that she is now sure that Rachel is manipulating her. That was ok with her as long as that worked to Julie's advantage, but now Julie's decided to find out what makes Rachel tick. (Will she and Kevin be comparing notes?)

*Rachel takes a blonde doll out of her desk drawer and holds it close. The doll cries and Rachel puts into a paper bag. It is obvious that she is trying to keep control of some very strong emotions.
