Port Charles Update for Thursday, April 27, 2000.

Today Port Charles fans bid farewell to one of it's original castmembers--Mitch Longley as Dr. Matt Harmon.

Yesterday, Mac told Matt that he was the intended target of the bullet that nailed Frank. Realizing he needed to join the WPP, Matt apologized to Frank, who responded in true Frank form--accusing and blaming Matt for what happened. After saying goodbye to Joe, Matt made his departure.

Sonny confronted Karen (Kari, as he called her) on her new drug addiction. Karen turned around and blamed Sonny for getting her started on drugs. Sonny told Karen she was responsible for her own choices, just as he is responsible for his and that she was given a second chance that a lot of people don't get. Scott and Lucy told Serena and Christina about how the met. However, it was not quite accurate since they don't want Serena to know everything yet. But it was sweet.

Chris and Julie took a staggering Rachel home. There, she asked to call her mom and referred to Julie as "Livvie". Later, after the effects of Chris's micky wore off, Julie asked about Livvie and Rachel told her that Livvie is the daughter of a former patient. Julie and Chris are determined to find out who Livvie is. Later, Chris told Julie that Courtney is trying to blackmail them with the knowledge that Christina Baldwin is really Christina Devlin-Scanlon. Julie wanted to pay the blackmail, but Chris strongly suggested coming forward with the info, since Courtney will never be satisfied and can continue to blackmail them.

Sonny paid another visit to Frank and told him he covered his gambling debt. However, if he ever gambles again, Sonny will know about it and Frank will be in hot water and then some. Frank was very grateful, but still stupid as he is still trying to figure out how to land $3,000.00 to send Neil to baseball camp. Courtney assured him that it will work out.
