Port Charles Update for Friday, 28-Apr-2000

On todays episode, Lucy learned that she has won the seat on the hospital board. Rachel learned that someone slipped her a micky after she had the lab do a blood test. She wholeheartedly believes it was Lucy and wants to exact revenge on her. Thus when Chris and Julie tell her that Julie wants to come forward with the news that she is Christina's mother, Rachel agrees. Lucy is celebrating her victory at the Recovery Room along with Scott and the girls when Julie tells Lucy that she is Christina's mother and she wants her baby back. (That was the last scene of the day)

Courtney was feeling full of herself because Chris promised to pay her blackmail by the end of the day. However, it was ruse to keep Courtney's mouth closed so Julie could do the honors and eliminate any need to pay Courtney.

At the hospital, Mike paid Frank a visit and told a story about Sonny, a new bike for Christmas and a gambling father who stole it to gamble more. His hope was to keep Frank from doing irreparable damage to his family, especially Neil. Mike also figured out that Frank, not the shooter, was the one with his hand in the till.

Eve and Kevin briefly discussed their impending nuptuals. Mike lets them know about Matt's sudden departure courtesy of the WPP.

Scenes for Monday include more Recovery Room trauma for Lucy and Scott, and Frank learning from Courtney that he is Christina's father.
