Port Charles Update for Monday, 1-May-2000

Main Characters: Julie, Chris, Lucy, Kevin, Scott, Eve, Rachel, Neil, Serena.
Recurring: Mike, Mary, DeNeice, Charlene.

Act I
Recovery Room

Lucy insists that this is insane, absolutely insane. Scott says look at who we are talking about. Lucy says that Christina is my child, my baby. Mine and Scott's. Julie objects and insists she is her daughter, her flesh and blood. Kevin insists she needs help, while giving Rachel an evil look. Julie interrupts and say yes, help to get her daughter back. Rachel has smug look on her face while saying nothing. Scott says there enough therapy for her. Chris say she just wants her daughter Eve says, what daughter, she wearing a pillow. Chris replies, the pillow was there to cover her pregnancy.
Eve says, If you believe that you are as nuts as she is. Then Chris insists again he delievered Christina. Lucy says it is not possible, but she really looks frighten that is the truth. The she runs around picking up her and baby things and prepares to leave.
Julie tried to talk to Lucy and tells she is very grateful for all she has done and she know how difficult this is ...
Lucy turns looking very upset, and says to Julie that she knows nothing and too stay away from me and my baby. She then orders Scott to keep Julie away from her. Scott walk between Lucy and Julie, and tells her to go back to the nuthouse - where she belong. Julie says that to Lucy to try to understand what I'm telling her. Lucy interrupts and says angrily, Understand what, Julie?! And tells she is Christina's mother and not her. Lucy turns and sees a perplexed looking Serena standing up . Scotts hopes things will calm down here and everything will be okay. Then Serena asks Lucy if Christina will leave with Julie.
Lucy face looks painful as she ressures Serena that doesn't mean that at all Then she gets protective and say to Julie, "Do you see?! Do you see what you are doing!? What are you doing?"
Julie insists strongly that she is telling the truth about what she is saying. Lucy really yells that she doesn't want to hear it. Then she informs she is heading home and to stay away from her. Julie tried to reach out and wants to talk. Chris grabs her and says it's okay. Mike is busy eyeing from behind his bar(Too bad he hasn't said in today's show). Scott, Charlene, and Serena start to head toward the front door of the recovery room. Afterwards Chris says to let them go and they aren't finished. Scott says differently that it is. Chris assures to Julie that he is wrong but just the beginning. Next the light goes on Eve head and she figures out if Julie is if Julie is Christina's mother. Julie says yes, then Eve concludes that Frank is the father(but doing infront of Neil, not a good idea)
mr. big(Neil) doesn't look to happy while Courtney look horrified that her son has to hear this.

Commerial Break

Act II
Neils stands and asks if Frank is Christina's dad - does that make her his little sister? Then Neil walks over and sit on his mom's lap(Mary is sitting nearly). Mary tells Neil she wished she had an answer for that. The she looks up to Mike for answers. Mike silent once again, shakes his head no. Eve demands a answer from Julie. Julie avoids the answer and says she is only is trying to do what is best for her and her baby. Eve then angrily tells Julie to take a flying a leap. Chris tells his wife to ingnore her and that they what they came to say - and she doesn't owe anybody any explantions
Julie says, that she hates the world. Rachel joins them and says she really doesn't hate the world but the little people who deserve it. At the moment, she is glaring at K&E.
Meanwhile, Eve says looking at them that the woman is dangerous. Kevin in a tick mood says which one. Eve says take your pick and what a mess. Suddenly Eve's beeper goes offs, and Kevin say duty calls. Eve figures out that Kevin is going to stay here and cause her more worry. someone has to protect the people of Port Charles
Kevins calls himself, "SuperShrink" (can he fly to GH side, they really need help lol) Eve kisses them and on the way out, she turns back to confront Julie. Chris tells her to stop and Julie insists she can handle her. Eve says like how she handled. How dare she mess with people's lives!?! Julie defends herself by saying she did what she had to do. Eve insists she did for herself not Christina. If she thinks she did for Christina, then Fercliff is calling. Chris clearly ticked and aks her if she finished. Eve says no and Scott and Lucy opened their hearts for that baby and loved her and what has Julie ever done for that baby. Chris mentions Julie giving her birth. Eve says next she just because she gaves birth, doesn't exactly make her a mother.(Bravo!!!)
Eve turns to leave and Chris tells her wait a minute that she should know better than anyone. Eve interrupts and informs him that she knows exactly where that baby belongs and so does Chris
Courtney comes up to Chris and grabs his arm, then not pleased the revealed the truth. Chris blames Courtney for causing all this but Courtney denys it. Chris say hadn't planned to reveal the truth but had no choice due to her blackmail. Then he places the fault on her and to live with it. Courtney doesn't look to happy.
At a nearby table, Chris and Julie holds hands while sitting with Rachel. Rachel says proudly that she every reason in the world to celebrate, to Chris. She then tells Julie that she is so proud that Juilie knew the moment was coming and she rose to it!

Firehouse

Scott tells Aunt Charlene to take Serena to the kitchan and get some cookies but she suggest a a ''nice gooey chocolatey thing'' for her (yummy) ]

Lucy is holding Christina tightely and rubbing her own cheek (which is wet) with Christina's little hand. Scott tries to talk but Lucy interrupts and says she didn't pay attention this time and she had all those dreams and things and she missed it
Scott insists she never could see this coming. Lucy says he is wrong and her instincts were right. But she didn't want to listen to them - because was Julie all dressed in white with that light all around her
Scott says so what, that Christina would be safe with Julie. He doesn't know about dream intrepretation but that's all that was! Lucy says it was too easy, that's what it was, too easy! She just saw what she wanted to see but deep down inside me she knew that Julie was not an angel, not a saint. The dreams were a warning that she's was Christina's birth mother. Scott insists there is no proof. Lucy says it doesn't matter because my instincts are screaming at me right now. That's it's true - and she can't ignore it. If she'd just seen this coming - maybe it would not have happening now. Lucy is very near tears again.
Scott walks to her and says to Lucy that a full-time swami could not and what difference would it have made!? Lucy turns to him and tells him she doesn't know but it would not have blind-sided like this! She would have done something! Anything!
Scott
Lucy says she wants Scott to assure him that is both gonna to be okay. She wants him to tell me that Christina is safe and sound with us and that no matter what Julie does. Christina is theirs and wants him to tell them that.
Scott says yes(but no totally convinced). Then hug her and Christina.

Recovery Room

Courtney asks Mary to take Neil home and she says yes. Neil thought he was to see Frank in hospital but Courtney wants to see him alone. Neil asks if becuase of Christina? It makes sense to him because she gave bone marrow. Neil ask if Frank knew like before with him. Courtney insists he doesn't then she leaves. Neil ask Mary if they can finish the crossword puzzle. Mary agrees and but first she needs to get her purse but then meet at her door. Rachel spots Neil alone and heads in his direction and ask he remember her. Kevin being really protective rushes over to them. Rachel asks him if this is exciting news, about finding out the he has a little sister.
Kevin interrupts and asks he wants to know what he thinks. Mary comes to rescue and quckly leaves with Neil. Rachel comments that he is a sweet kid. Kevin replies that he is. And he asks Dr. Locke what kind of sadistic games are you playing with that boy. Rachel just looks at him.

Commerical Break
Act III
Kevin ask her, did she start out by pulling wings off flies or by tormenting the other children? Rachel asks what she do did this time?
Kevin replies that how about poking at a child about family secret in very public way? (Don't forget Eve announcing Frank is the father, Kevin)
Rachels say that secrets can be very damaging to a child's pyschic And tells kevin he showed know that. And tell him it's better for the child to better to be brought up in atmosphere of honesty and openess. Kevin says Honesty and openess at all costs? That's what's better for everyone? Right? Rachel agrees with him.
Kevin tells her he has a feeling that only person who will benefit from any of this will be Rachel
Rachel say their time is up and to discuss thia at the next session.( I think Rachel won that one. lol)
Rachel returns to seat while Kevin dosn't look to pleased. She apologizes for taking so long. Julie can only imagine what he had to say. Rachel say don't bother and ask what she did miss. Chris tells them she was called to hospital and asks Julie if she will be okay. Julie says she feel hsan't felt this relieved in half a lifetime. Then Chris departs. Rachel then quotes the NT, by saying the the truth will set you free. Rachel give Kevin a dirty look at his table.

Firehouse

Scott asks if Serena is okay. Serena say sort of worried and asks to talk Serena asks if Christina has to live with Julie because Julie claims she is mother. Even she if is, that doesn't mean she is mother what counts now. Scott tells Serena that what is important is how they all feel about each other and gives her his promise to see that ''her little sister is not taken away from her'' Next we see Lucy rocking Christina in another room. Lucy looks worried but tells Christina no one taking her away.

GH

Chris catches up Eve and says he wastin' his breath, Ramsey.
Chris wants to explain. Eve says no and calls his wife is a pathological liar and you're the biggest con man to ever roam the hospital. Chris asks if she believe he is running a con now.
Eve says she onced believed that he had an embryonic conscience and a microscopic heart but even someone as smart as her can be wrong.
Chris is not impressed she can make a joke about his and throw out one-liners.(He sounds very irriated)
Eve says it isn't funny at all that he is using an innocent baby in one of your scams. Chris insists there is no scam.
Eve says that she expects him to believe that Julie hid a real pregnancy with a pillow all the while pretending - just pretending - to be pregnant. Even the National Intruder would never buy that stuff.
Chris tells her he delivered Christina and named after him! Eve says even if that is true, it doesn't give him the right to claim Christina - to steal her away from Scott and Lucy!
Chris asks Julie and that she gave birth to her!
Eve doesn't want to her about the biological mother stuff. Just because she gave birth doesn't exactly make her the right person for the job! Look at her mother!
Chris insists that he going to do whatever I can to help his wife get her baby back. He tells Eve that is right and what's best
Eve asks for whom.
Suddenly they get interrupted by emermercy patient by the Emilio and some Female EMT. As they working on her, Eve shakes her head and tells Chris that she thinking of Neil and Christina and how they turned out alright.
Eve says that children come into this world who they are from the very beginning no matter how messed up their parents might be. The she departs


Frank's Room

Frank asks where Neil is but Courtney insists she has to speak with him and sent Neil home with Mary. Courtney say to him that he is never gonna beleive this. Franks said just tell him. Courtney says okay, but brace yourself, it's big

Act IV
Chris and Eve talk about the patient then Chris tells Eve to wait.
Eve says if this about the case, great. If not, don't bother. Chris asks what he is doing wrong. Eve says he is using a innocent child. Chris says again that Julie is her mother. Eve hopes it isn't true and he not doing this for Christina but Julie. Everything he does is only to make Julie happy regardless what it is going to do to chil. Eve then takes off.

Recovery Room

Kevin sits down with Julie and says that the truth is out and what is next for her. Julie says just wait and see, because things are getting started. Kevin asks why she look so disappointed. He thinks that she expect Lucy and Scott to just hand over their baby. Julie interrupts and says my baby. And all that matters is that she doesn't have to lie anymore.. Kevin says it funny he should of seen this coming and blame himself.
Julie says she thinks she doesn't think he know her as well as he thinks. Kevin said there were so many coincedences, like the day you showed up in just in time for Lucy and Scott's wedding.
Julie asks about what about it.. Kevin said you didn't save Christina in the snow but she wanted to take her!
Julie asks if he writing another novel? (he has to finish the second one first lol)
Kevin then says that she was planning to kidnap he. Butit didn't work out, so then preyed on Lucy and Scott's gratitude, enlisted them in a fight to win her release, and ever since then you've been waiting to drop the news. (so True)
Julie asks if there is a point to this. Kevin says he just made it. Julie asks if he could leave(I think Julie won this round)
Kevin warns Julie that he will doing eveything in my power to stop her from getting her hands on his goddaughter! He tells her to enjoy the wine. Then he leaves.

Frank's Room
In the room DeNiece is rubbing his back(lucky gal) while Courtney watches. Frank thanks DeNeice and she tells she will see him later.
Afterwards, Frank asks what is going on. Courtney says you are not going to believe this, I sure did not not. Franks says try me. Courtney says she was at the at recovery room for Lucy's party - and you'll never believe who came walking in there. Chris and Julie, they wanted to make trouble and they did.
Franks asks how?
Courtney says they went marching to Scott and Lucy and annoucned to Lucy , in the middle of party, that Christina is Julie's daughter
Franks says, What?
Courtney, that's what she said, and Chris backed her up. That he delivered her and all them were all pretty much in shock (except her) that nobody knew Julie pregnant. nobody really knew that - Frank, don't you think that's kind of,"

**I am just going to use actually words here for Frank finding out**
Frank: Courtney! julie told me that she was pregnant and that I was the father of the child
Courtney: yeah, but you didn't believe her
Frank: yeah, I did at first, but then she said she was lying, not pregnant. But she was totally out of it!
Courtney: so no sense to make of it one way or the other! Frank ,it is starting to make sense now. The bone marrow match for Neil...
Frank: Julie was telling the truth! Christina, Christina is my daughter!"

Great scene with Jay Pickett and Sarah.

Lucy with Christina but Scott comes in and see her packing.

Scott: "No judge in the world going to give that kid to Julie!"
Lucy: "This isn't just some kid, this is our Christina--our baby
Scott: "Give it time."
Lucy: "No, my instincts tell me to protect my baby now."
Scott: "You are running away!
Lucy: "Call your pilot, tell him to gas up. We are taking those girls and getting away now!"
