Port Charles Update for Thursday, 8-Jun-2000

Scott tells Lee and Gail that Karen got to the clinic okay. They are setting up for Christina's 1st birthday party.

Chris brings home flowers for Julie but she's not home. He finds the children's fairy tale book opened to a picture of the old castle and bolts out the door.

Joe and Ian are in the ER when Gabrielle walks in saying it's her first day on the job in the ER and there is a bunch on injuires and she's trying to state the information to the doctors correctly. Joe tells her to hang in, she'll do fine.

Lee asks Scott if he has spoken to Lucy about Frank's rights with Christina. He says no.

Chris shows up at the castle where Christina was born and finds Julie there with the place all decorated for Christina's birthday party. They discuss the day she was born and reflecting on the whole experience. While they are doing this, back at Christina's "REAL" birthday party, Scott and Lucy open her dollhouse that Scott made for her. Serena explains that it has a mother, father, 3 sisters and a brother. This bothers Lucy who gets more upset when Frank, Courtney, and Neil come in. Lucy says this is a surprise but Serena says it's not - she invited them.

Gabrielle is trying to get an IV in a patient when Ian walks in and pushes her aside taking over saying it should have been done by now. Joe tells him to give the new person a break. Ian says it's not a place to learn, and they are lucky no harm was done. He walks out while Joe reassures Gabrielle that she'll do fine.

Frank tells Courtney she's only at the party because he didn't want to have to explain to Neil why she wasn't there. Lucy invites everyone to see the Sister's book that Serena made for Christina. She wants everyone to reflect on their best memory of Christina and they will write it in her book. While everone is stating their "memory" of her, Chris and Julie are doing the same at the castle. Chris tells Julie that their fairytale isn't over yet. He lights the candle on the cake and tells her to make a wish - he tells her he'll help her get it.

Frank asks Scott if he's told Lucy about his visiting Christina, he said he hasn't yet but Lucy will just have to accept it. Scott later tells Lucy that he told Frank he could spend time with Christina tomorrow. Lucy tells hims he doesn't get anything he says or does anymore and walks away.
