Port Charles Update for Thursday, 22-Jun-2000

Lucy sees Scott backstage at the Nurse's Ball and flips because he doesn't have Christina. Lucy tells him she can't look at him cause he came home without finding her. He tells her that Julie and Christina were never in Brazil. Julie spent a lot of money making false leads all over the world. Serena comes and asks Scott where her sister is.
Scott tells Serena eveything was a trick but he will keep following every lead and promises they will find Christina. Kevin comes and tells Lucy she can't do everything at once, she needs to take one step at a time. She says the show must go on. Kevin tells her the Ball is a huge success - it's time for her to go home. She says "no, still one more thing for her to do."

Gabrielle is wondering if Joe is okay. He tells her he's better than okay cause he's with her but his mind is thinking about the terrible news that Jill gave him. Boardman and Rachel are talking, and Rachel says she can smell disaster and loves it (cause the curtain went up and lights came on on stage but no one appeared).

Lucy enters the stage in jeans and her nurses ball t-shirt telling everyton that she won't be in her underwear this year because she's already been stripped down to nothing (speaking of having Christina stolen from her). She gives a touching speach of losing someon (speaking of Christina and people with aids). Joe glances over at Jill during this speech. During the speech, Kevin goes to Frank to tell him that Scott came up with nothing. Lucy gets a standing ovation and walks off the stage past Scott and he praises her and asks her to look at him, she turns around and looks at him then walks away.

Emilo confronts Joe about his being cold towards his sister all of a sudden. He asks Emilo to drive Gabrielle home. Joe tells Gab that he has a situation that has changed everything. He tells her he has to go to work and that he has Emilo to drive her home. He looks away as they are about to kiss.

Allison tells Jamal to give her a minute to freshen up before they leave. He tells her she can go to the parties without him. She says she wants the kind of friend that he's not willing to give her. And walks away - he follows and Amanda is mortified.

Frank tells Neil that Christina hasn't been found but they will find her.

Lucy goes to her hotel room at the Ball and falls apart. Next time we see her, she's at home hugging a stuffed animal and rocking in the chair. Scott tells her is she's ready to talk to him. Lucy glares at him saying "your never going to find her are you?!"

Rachel confront Chris about hid donation to the charity. Eve comes to talk to Chris. He tells her that he'll be fine - but no one is going to find Julie if she wants to hide. Kevin finds Eve and tells her what a mess Lucy is. He tells her Scott is there for Lucy but he's not Christina and that's what Lucy needs.
