Port Charles Update for Wednesday, 19-Jul-2000

Main Characters: Chris, Gaberiella, Livvie, Rachel, Kevin, Lucy, Ian, Eve, Jamal, Alison, Boardman.

Scene I

Chris asks Gabriella about the big date, she retorts it was just dinner. Chris suggest she never knows what it might lead. Next, we switch to Rachel talking to Livvie about returning home to Arizona, then her Aunt Grace death. Livvie wants to be there, but her voice indicates she not okay that her mom want her stay put. The phone calls end, then we moved Kevin and Eve discussing their dinner plans. Eve then exits quickly. Then Katie rounds the corner, and Kevin ask if there anything he could do. Katie says no, Lucy has it under control. Kevin heads off to see Lucy comforting Leah with Ian. Kevin watches Lucy with curiosity as talks and listens to Leah. Cedric drops by see Jamal and demands to get what he wants. Cedric hands him some money and Jamal says they are square now.

Act II

Kevin asks Lucy if everything is alright. Lucy explains the Leah had a seizure but she was able to calm her down. Kevin tells her it was a good thing that she was there. Then Ian agrees with Kevin about her being there. Then Lucy says to Ian they haven't been introduced officially. Lucy says ''Lucy Coe'' but hesitates on Baldwin. Ian tells he knows who she is already but Lucy wonders how he does. Eve joins the group and is ready to head out to dinner with Kevin. Eve was very sweet when she invited Lucy to dinner. Kevin mentions heading over to Mario's. Lucy smiles and lights up because she hasn't been there for such a long time. Ian comments that he is very hungry(just like guy lol) and Eve just stares at him. Ian mentioned he didn't want be third wheel, unless Lucy agrees to go along too. Rachel then stares very coldly to the group ahead as they continued to chat.
Next, Cederic and Jamal are talking at his place. Jamal pays Cederic some money he owns him. Cederic claims he will let him off the hook if he tells her where Val and the Baby are. Jamal says he no idea where she is. Cederic says he better not be lying and to keep an close on his pretty rich girlfriend. Jamal says to stay away from her and there was witness to her attack. Cederic shyly says that the victims account at the trial is the most damaging. Jamal says to stay away from her. Cederic threatens if Alison better not talk. But if she does, he will shut her up.

At GH Boardman welcomes Rachel back and asks if her houseguest has departed. But instead we find Livvy eating a pizza at Marios. Lucy and Eve find themselves alone only at the restraurant. Lucy observes a family with a baby and wants to get out of there. Eve complains being stuck with Ian for the evening if she decides to leaves. Lucy thinks Ian is nice and says so. Eve heads to restroom and Lucy watches Livvy skipping her bill due to lack of money. Afterwards Lucy gives her a look, then she pays for Livvy bill. Anyways, Eve returns from the washroom just as Ian and Kevin arrive. Lucy asks Ian about Leah; he's says that she is okay and can't stop talking about Lucy. As they are looking at the menus, Ian and Gabriella arrives at Marios which upsets Lucy greatly.


Scene III


Jamal tells Alison that Cederic is out on bail(help from his boys) and he suggest her joining her parents in Europe. At GH, Boardman remarks that he back.
At Marios, Chris is knocking away the drinks while at the Table with Gaberial. Chris is celebrating because it their first date. I love the facial expression that Chris gave the foursome, then with determination said he was having the most fun with her. Ian asks Lucy why she hasn't eaten her. Suddenly to everyone delight(and mine) Victor walks through the door. Lucy look happy to see him and introduces Ian to him. Ian asks where Ian came from and said Belfast. LOL, on Ian facial expression when Victor told he was undercover as Leprauchan in Ireland. Lucy tells Victor that her and Ian path's crossed at the park. Ian replies he knew at the Nurses Ball when she gave that impressive speech. Lucy's eyes drops in pain as she reminded of the day she really lost Christina. Lucy says no she isn't and just reminded her of someone and mutters that Chris isn't having any trouble forgetting. Chris comments sarcastically that she is just one of his ''fans'' and Gabriella asks why people don't like him. Chris calls it is ''guilt by association'' and they likes to blame him for things,he hesitates and almost says that his wife did , but stops himself and tells her Julie Devlin instead. Gabriella says that stinks. Meanwhile, Kevin props up that Lucy is a board member at GH; Eve mentions she has many ideas, which Ian wants to hear. Lucy says she will some but she can't stay any longer. Kevin urges not to leave, she says can't forget about Chris and asks Victor to take her home. Chris wants to leave as well. Love that Chris wanted to go to Lukes but Gabriella insists on driving and not taking the bottle(good for her) Chris leaves the rest of bottle to Eve, Kevin and Ian. Eve isn't impressed how Chris presences affected Lucy and I like her concern for her. LOL, on Kevin saying the wine is a good bottle. That man has taste. I was also glad that Kevin remarked it wouldn't be quick fix for Lucy for her recovery.

Scene IV


Gabriella escorts Chris and tries to get her stay with him. Chris offers her some martinis and she insists the date is over. Chris pleads for ''Julie not to leave him. That moment, Gabriella saw how much pain Chris was from his wife leaving him. Alison says she not afraid of Cederic and not letting him get away for everything he has done! At Marios, Eve is complaining about Ian to Kevin just as he approaches the table. Ian says goodbye and going to check on Leah and thanks them for inviting him. LOL, On Kevin making Eve, say it was their pleasure to Iam for him coming to dinner. Eve, sort of admits, that Ian very nice to Kevin. Well, then Kevin and Eve exit the resturant.
At the hotel, Victor suggests getting tea. Lucy then asks Victor when he kidnapped Kevin as a boy and if it was a mistakes to do it. Victor look in pain as he said it was different circumstances with Kevin. And Lucy hopes with desperation that Julie will bring her back to the people who love her. Victor says he can't tell her what she wants to hear, but the truth is nobody can predict how anything will turn out. Lucy says with such deep emotion that she can't forgot and move on with her life like anyone else is doing. Victor's word's I thought were very comforting as he said that it is possible to move on and that her children are always be with her. Boardman compliments Rachel as they walked hand in hand in the park, how fast she recovered since surgery. Rachel says confidently that no one is going to stop her. Afterwards, we see Livvy come of the hiding by the bench. Then we fade out.
