Port Charles Update for Wednesday, 6-Sep-2000

Characters: Kevin, Rachel, Ian, Eve, Livvie and Chris.

Act I

''I want to know what is going on between my Mom and Dr. Collins. And think you know,'' Rachel.

Livvie answers her door and sees it is Chris. He mentions going to lunch. Livvie says that's not why she called. She informs him that her mom was at the hotel the night before. Chris acts like he nothing about it while Livvie tells him that Kevin had a run with her Mom. Livvie asks what is situation going on with her mom and Kevin, and thinks Chris knows.

At the resident lounge, Eve is going through her mail as Kevin greets her. Kevin apologizes for not making it home last night. He kisses her then Eve thinks that Kevin is working too much. He tells her that he was busy with Charlie, then Alison and an emergency. Eve can't believe that Alison killed Cederic but Kevin does, due to her large memory block she mostly had. Kevin informs Eve that Alison remembers the killing but not the implications. Eve asks why he let Alison go and Kevin says she would of left anyways if he tried to make her stay. Eve gives Kevin a letter of his that ended up in mistake in her pile. He and Eve are shocked when they both learn that Kevin is being investigated for improper conduct from the Erie Medical Society. Each know that Rachel is responsible for him being reported.

Rachel approaches Ian at the desk. He informs her that he has an incomplete file. Rachel suggest the lab lost it. I have noticed that Ian was really nice to Rachel in this scene. Probably one of the people that treat her okay in PC. lol

Act II


''I will tell anything you want to know about my relationship with Gracie. Anything. If you tell me what you are really doing in Port Charles,'' Kevin.

Ian finds Eve in the Residents Lounge, complaining that someone ate her chocolate covered pretzels. But then Eve tells Ian that she is really upset that Rachel Locke is reported Kevin. Then Ian informs her that are 4 incomplete lab reports, 2 of which are his pateints. Eve remarks that lab may of never caught up from the strike. Ian doesn't think so, and is trying to find out if they are any more blue marks on other patients. Eve bluntley asks if Ian is staying or going. Ian tells her that they are things he is going to miss like solving this mystery. You can see by his face that Ian doesn't want to leave this case unsolved. And it looks like Ian has a crush on Eve too in this scene. Eve says he better get to work and if wants to solves that mystery. She then wants him to find her pretzels. Ian says smiling and to just call him Sherlock. Eve says she can't, that what she calls her husband. Ian is being supportive and hopes things work for Kevin to her.

At the hotel, Livvie is pacing back and forth then Chris asks her what she wants. Livvie wants answers. Chris asks if Kevin has told her about his relationship with Rachel. Livvie mentions she knew that they had disagreed about how treating their patients, but after the fight she knows that their relationship is very personal. He says, she is right. Kevin is probably upset he was fired off Julie's case, Chris assumes. But Livvie comments that Chris fired him. But Rachel was very vocal about Kevin mistakes with Julie, he insists. Chris feels that Kevin isn't an incompetent as Rachel thinks. Chris reflects that he should of listened to Kevin. Livvie is confused about her mother good reputations and that people in PC thinks she is big phoney. Chris asks if honesty if she really wants. Livvie asks why, is there more. Chris says her mom may be a brillant shrink but is very capable of making trouble if she doesn't like them.
At Rachel's office, she is suprised that Kevin is the person who called her. Kevin thought she might be interested in this. He hands her paper and Rachel is thrilled the medical board acted so fast. Well he says it depends what they have been told with Charlie. Kevin asks what she thinks he what he did wrong. Rachel points out that meeting an a teenage girl in a hotel very late at night and tells him do the math. Kevin says it doesn't add up unless you have a depraved imagination. Rachel brings up his history of woman and Kevin can't believe she can say with a straight face that he some kind of Ted Bundy. Rachel cooly says it is up for the commitee to decide. Kevin calls it revenge because he reported her to Gail about her unethetic actions toward Alison. Rachel expresses it was legimate concern to the medical board and he looks at some debolic move a in chess game. Queen takes white night or tries, Kevin states. Kevin says it isn't a game and he doesn't have an hidden agenda. Rachel is truely amazed that he blames her for the consquences of his actions. Kevin is irrated that this about Grace again and tells her to learn a new song. Rachel says he can't handle the fact that she knows the truth. Kevin proposes he will tell about him and Grace if Rachel tells why she really came to PC.

Act III

''Aren't you the lucky one! Shame that Grace doesn't have the same chance!'' Rachel

Livvie asks Chris if he has figured out why her mom doesn't want her in Port Charles. Chris slyly suggests maybe it is because her mom is protecting from her grandmother. No, she always allowed to be near her in her life. Livvie reflects how close they used to be before her mom moved to PC. Chris asks if Rachel has any other sisters or brothers to help out. Livvie mentions that Rachel's sister died years ago and doesn't remember her. But her grandmother fell apart after her death. Chris says losing a child is terrible thing for a parent. Livvie comments that all three have stuck together and can't understand why her mom asked her leave PC. Livvie thinks she shouldn't be doing therapy with Kevin Chris says that Kevin knows Rachel more than anybody and thinks he can help her.
Back At Rachel's Office, Rachel finishes her phone call. Kevin insists she ask her questions and Rachel says what the use. Rachel comments that Kevin has power over woman like Grace, Lucy and Charlie. Notice that Rachel doesn't mention Eve, I find that very interesting. Kevin comments that Rachel finds it fascinating that people are drawn to him. Rachel retorts that it sickens her. Kevin says he is puzzled why draws on person to another. Kevin remarks he made a lot of mistake especially with Grace. Kevin says he work hard overcome that. Rachel interrupts by saying Kevin muzzles people in one way or another, people who tell what he is like. Kevin retorts he has overcome his past and has put behind the person he used to be in the past. Kevin says he now drawn to his friends, wife and know, accept him who is today. Rachel laughs at false modesty. Kevin is grateful for Grace, they
hurt each other alot and didn't belong together. Kevin believes that every step they take in life brings us to who we are. And in first time in a long time, he is happy who he is. Rachel says sarcastically that Kevin is lucky and too bad that Grace doesn't have the same chance. Rachel insists he leave but Kevin says no. He wants answers why Rachel is in PC.
At the Resident Lounge, Eve walks in and announced she has pulled out her patient charts at the ER. Eve says that this work keep her busy because she worried about Kevin. Ian asks if anyone takes the case about Kevin seriously. Eve says in a perfect world no, but this isn't a perfect world. Then Eve changes the subject to him and Karen. LOL, on Ian told Eve a wild tale about the date. I love how he kept a straight face during most of his story. Eve find out she has incomplete test results. Ian leaves her with question that if she thinks it still an oversight of the lab. Hmm, the mystery continues.

Act IV

''So tell me everything, don't leave a single thing out!'' Eve

Rachel claims she came to Port Charles to treat Julie. Kevin says how did it happpen that the shrink she happen to replace was her late sister ex-fiance. Rachel says sarcastically sometime a cigar is just a cigar. Personally, I wish the show would explain Rachel connection with DV and why she was so fascinated with Scott when she first came on. But I doubt we will find ever find out, it seems to be the past now. Anyways, Kevin retorts sometimes it is a dagger. Kevin says her reason to coming to PC was to get him. And to cause real damage in the future. Rachel retorts that he really thinks she spends all her time on him. Kevin says yes she does. Rachel calls him a bastard. Then of all sudden, she pulls him and kisses him. Kevin stares at her for a moment, then kisses her back. Then he wipes his lips, and cooly says is that what she is looking for and walks out. Rachel was clearly affected and lost the game. Checkmate!! Kevin pulled a fast one on Rachel, she thought he had him but then it backfired. He wasn't into the kiss and was in complete control of his emotion. Personally, I think Rachel was jealous of Grace most of life and wanted what his sister had: Kevin. After the kiss, Rachel now feels rejected from Kevin and her attack on him will now increase. But that's my opinion on the whole situation.

At the Hotel, Chris ask Livvie not to back out these sessions with Kevin because is the key to set those secrets of her free. Chris says he willing to dig up stuff on Rachel. LOL, on Chris saying he isn't a sneaky guy. Livvie seems very touch and hugs him. Poor Livvie, when she finds out Chris is using her to ruin Kevin and Rachel, she is going to so hurt. I think Chris cares for her but need for revenge is far more important to him right now. And he doesn't care how he accomplishes it right now. Kudos to Nolan North, for playing Chris so calmly as he plots his revenge using innocent Livvie. He has truly conned Livvie by his smooth performance.

Eve finds it very spooky that Lab has no records of the missing information. Ian remarks that his infected patience have no family to speak of. Interesting... is some doctor conducting some secret experiment somewhere?? Anyways, Eve suggests heading to lunch which Ian approves. LOL, on Eve reactions that Ian likes the food at the cafertia.
Then Kevin walks in and Eve asks he has confronted Rachel yet. Right away, Ian cancel their plans so Eve could talk to Kevin. Afterwards, Kevin says he talked to Rachel in a manner of speaking lol. Eve tells him to not leave out a single detail and Kevin says he wouldn't dare. But on Thurday show, he does tell her about the kiss but not he kissed Rachel back.
