Port Charles Update for Friday, 3-Nov-2000

Today's show begins in the GH coffee shop, where a pathologist named Nick tells Ian that someone administered the mysterious virus to Mr. Green.

Ooooo, today we had an appearance by Mirror Ryan. He taunts Kevin about the fact that *he*, not Kevin, is Livvie's father.

The bad guys from the party beat up Joe, til Frank comes outside & fights them off. Joe is rushed to GH. Gabriella tells Neil that they attacked Joe because of his exposure to HIV. Neil blasts Courtney because of what was on the tape. Joe's conscious, coherent, & in good spirits. He jokes around with Karen & Eve. Karen tells everyone that Joe is awake, & Gabriella goes in to be with him.

Down by the river, Chris gives Livvie a hug & a pep talk. He tells her that Kevin has a DARK side. Speaking of DARKsiders, Mirror Ryan tells Kevin all about the night Livvie was concieved. He may be rotting in Hell, but his spirit lives on through his "darling daughter."

Eve walks in on Ian, doing research on the blue dot mystery. She starts to leave, but he asks her to stay. Meanwhile, in ER, Gabriella & Joe share a kiss, while Karen tells Courtney, Frank & Neil that Joe will be fine. Frank & Neil go in to see him, & Karen tells off Courtney.

Ian mentions Estelle Reese to Eve. She informs him that Estelle is Rachel's mom. Ian tells Eve that Bob Green was murdered. At the river, Chris tells Livvie that Kevin has been known to "wig out" from time to time. He doesn't mention the fact that Kevin was a stalker & how Lucy rescued him from the brink of total insanity....Ok, sorry, my mind wandered for a minute. Chris claims to really care about Livvie, & I for one believe him. He seems very sincere.

Mirror Ryan taunts Kevin about his marriage, such as how Eve's reacting to the news about Livvie. Then, there are multiple Mirror Ryan's & lots of fun house mirrors! Oops, it's only a dream. But, Kevin has a really strange feeling when he awakens. But, then, so would I.

Gabriella's big brother Emilio (who, one would think, oughtta know better, being a paramedic & all) freaks out because Gabriella has Joe's blood on her dress, & orders her to stay away from Joe.

Chris offers to take Livvie home, & she tells him she doesn't have a home. So, of course Chris tells her she can stay with him. Someone *please* tell me they aren't going to make Livvie & Chris a couple. Meanwhile, Ian tells Eve that Boardman is treating Estelle for brain atrophy - the same disease that killed Bob Green. Estelle has been ill for years, but this disease has been injected into people (the blue dot is where the needle is inserted) & they die in a matter of weeks. Boardman is the culprit! I dunno, seems too obvious for me.

Now that he's up from his nap, Kevin has Eve paged. But, she's locked in a room with Ian!!!
