At Rachel's, Eve tries to convince Livvie that there is no other explanation for Kevin's watch being there. He wouldn't leave it behind. Rachel had to take him by force. Ian tries to calm Eve down. Livvie keeps trying to call Rachel. Eve reaches the man who was scheduled to have lunch with Lucy. She didn't show up. Eve senses real danger and begins to get frantic. When Livvie doesn't understand why Eve is reacting this way, Eve calls Rachel a serial killer. They wonder why Rachel would want Kevin now. Livvie can't believe that her mother could get someone Kevin's size out of her apartment. Livvie has a sudden thought why Rachel might be doing this: Rachel knows that Kevin is really her father. She tells Eve and Ian that they are supposed to leave town tonight. They agree that Rachel must be desperate about something. Livvie says that Rachel said she had one last thing to take care of. Eve says that Kevin is that "one last thing." Livvie finds a note from Rachel that says they should meet at the airport at 10:00. Eve says they can't wait until then. It may be too late for Kevin. Ian finds files of Rachel's about the Blue Dot patients. Livvie is convinced that Ian and Eve are right about Rachel. They look for information about who Rachel's next "patient" is. It's Lucy. Eve and Ian tell a reluctant Livvie to stay put while they go to find Iris, whose address they found in a file. Livvie "agrees" but follows them as soon as they leave. The next time we see Eve and Ian, they are in an alley. They just came from Iris' apartment and didn't find anything. Ian searches through the trash for information and finds Iris' body. She is holding a picture ID of Louise, a new nurse at GH. They notice also the symbol that they found at Bob Green's apartment. They rush off. Livvie emerges from behind a garbage and follows.

Kevin wakes up in a laboratory. His arms are tied to his chair. Rachel is shining a light in his eyes, but he can see Lucy unconscious in a chair, also bound to it. She also has tubes attached to her. Rachel warns Kevin that if he moves the wrong way, the sensors that are attached to him will activate the IV attached to Lucy, releasing a concentrated dose of the disease which Estelle has had for fifteen years. Kevin wants to know why Rachel is doing this to Lucy. Rachel says that Lucy is his partner in crime. She tried to take over Livvie as her surrogate mother. The added bonus is the fact that by doing this to Lucy it will torture Kevin also. Rachel reveals that not only does Estelle have this disease but Grace had it also. Rachel describes Grace's mental collapse. She blames Kevin for not trying to help her sister. Rachel says that she has been working years on this disease in case Livvie got it. She says that's what a real parent does: sacrifices. She thinks he was selfish telling Livvie that he really was her father. Rachel lets him know that she's not stupid enough to leave him there alive when she leaves town. In addition, he can watch Lucy die a slow painful death. Rachel torments Kevin emotionally by suggesting that he wants to go to Lucy and hold her. Kevin wants her to admit that this is why she came to Port Charles - to kill Kevin because she thinks he is responsible for Grace's death. Rachel admits that she did move to Port Charles to be near Kevin. She waited for a situation where she could avoid suspicion. She had hoped that getting involved with Julie's case would be enough to ruin Kevin. Rachel was upset when Kevin became involved in Livvie's life. Kevin goes on and on about what a wonderful mother Rachel has been, how talented and intelligent she is. She has been a wonderful healer, with so much to offer the world. She is so much more than her sister's avenger. While he is talking, he sees Lucy's hand twitch. Rachel seems convinced that Kevin understands her. He tells her that if she lets them go, he'll let everyone know about the purity of her motives. Rachel sees Kevin looking over at Lucy. She sees that Lucy is regaining consciousness and realizes she's being conned. She yanks Kevin's arm, releasing the IV attached to Lucy. Kevin is horrified. He screams to Lucy to pull the IV out of her arm, but she can't. Rachel holds a scalpel to Kevin's neck as Eve and Ian sneak into the laboratory. They work their way over to where Kevin and Rachel are. Livvie enters and can't believe what she sees there. Rachel insists she did all this for her and her grandmother. Ian jumps out and grabs Rachel while Kevin screams to Eve to pull the IV out of Lucy. Livvie turns the lights off while Ian struggles with Rachel.
