Victor and Kevin are not sure that the jewelry that they found is Livvie's. They rush off to find her.

At Jamal's, he is shocked that Alison thinks she is moving in. When Alison sees that he isn't ready for this, she changes her mind. Later, outside, Jamal tells Alison that she took him by surprise, but he does want her to be his roommate. She doesn't believe him. She says she is going to be realistic and go get a job. Then she'll rent a room in a friend's apartment. When she goes back inside, Jamal looks sad and says to himself that Alison already has a place and says "you got me." Inside, Alison calls friends but nobody has room for her. She tells Jamal that it's ok, because she'd rather have her own place. If she had a roommate, she'd have to clear it with them before she'd invite Jamal over for dinner. Jamal convinces her to stay, presses a key into her hand and says "welcome home Spunky." They kiss.

Rachel grips Livvie's arm and keeps her from leaving. When she sees that Livvie is scared, she strokes her face and tells her that she's all she has left. Rachel starts to break down crying and says "they" are after her. Ever since she was a little girl, she tried to make her mother love her, but Estelle always loved Grace and thought Rachel was stupid and ugly. Livvie tells Rachel that Estelle does love her. Rachel has always thought that the only way to win her mother's love was to find a cure for her disease. Now she has lost everything she was working on in the lab. In the corner of the room, there is a TV, where we see Kevin on the air pleading with Rachel to not harm anyone, and to let Livvie go. In Lucy's hospital room, she watches Kevin on her TV. Rachel tells Livvie that they have to leave town. She asks Livvie to meet her on the docks in two hours. They will take a boat out of town. Livvie asks about her grandmother. Rachel says that Estelle will know that they didn't abandon her. They embrace, exchange "I love you's" and Rachel leaves.

Chris asks Gabriela why there is a guard outside Lucy's room. Gabriela tells him that Rachel tried to kill Lucy. Chris asks if Livvie was there with them. Gabriela doesn't know. Chris asks who was there. Gabriela tells him that Eve and Ian were there. They are in the lab now. Eve and Ian are trying to decipher Rachel's notes. Their enthusiasm is fueled by their realization of how well they are cooperating. When Ian mentions "chemistry", there is a moment of uneasiness between them. Chris comes in and says he wants to talk to them "right now." Eve and Ian tell him that time is very crucial and that he should leave. Chris looks at the computer screen and asks if they are experimenting with human tissue. Ian keeps Chris from touching the computer and tells Chris that he is better off not knowing what they are up to. Eve tells Chris to back off. They are working on something to save Lucy's life. He should go and find Livvie. Back at work on the computer, Eve and Ian find what they were hoping for. They cheer and hug each other. When they separate, there is the usual sexual tension. They go to Lucy's room and tell her that they found an antidote, but they don't know what dosage to use. Lucy understands and says she doesn't want to just lay there and die. The phone rings. Eve answers it. It's Kevin. Lucy asks him if he found Livvie yet. He answers no. She says he'll make a wonderful father. She asks him to hug her for her when he finds Livvie. Kevin says she can do that for herself. Lucy asks Kevin to bring Livvie to the hospital so that she can hug her and not let go. As Eve listens, Lucy says "and I won't let go of you either." She starts to cry as she tells Kevin that he's always there with her and she is always there for him. Outside Lucy's room, Chris tells Eve that he is going to look for Livvie. Eve and Ian go back inside. Ian injects Lucy's IV with the antidote. Lucy looks worried. Her eyes get teary. The antidote seems to work. Ian and Eve are thrilled. Lucy says she feels stronger. Suddenly, she flatlines and Eve screams "code blue" as Ian tries to revive Lucy.

At GH, Victor and Kevin talk about locating Livvie. Victor wants to check his contacts. Kevin wants to recheck the places they've looked in case Mac doesn't succeed. Kevin tells Victor that he wants to be a father to Livvie. He says he's going to Rachel's office. As he starts to walk away, he hears someone call his name. He sees Livvie looking out from behind a door. She asks Kevin to come with her because she needs his help.
