Everyone pitched in to help clean up the Recovery Room. To celebrate their lost friends, they toasted them with a shot of whiskey and shared memories of Eve and Ian. Jamal couldn't stop worrying about Alison. He realized when she almost wasn't admitted to the hospital that he wasn't doing a good job of taking care of her. Alison assured him that he was the only thing that mattered to her, not returning to her family. "I'll find them. I don't care how long it takes or what I have to do. I'm going to find the bastards and make them pay for what they did."

Kevin grieved heavily for Eve, remembering their wedding day by dressing up in his wedding tux and going to the spot where they were married. He made a vow to find the people responsible for her death. Harris taunted Ian by telling him that he and Eve had spent all night together. Eve wouldn't back down from one of guards, even when he physically threatened her. When the guard gave her hot coffee, she threw it in his face and hit him with a tray so she could escape the room. Harris finally revealed the reason that he was holding Ian and Eve hostage; he was dying of Crohn's disease. He wanted Ian to save his life. Eve ran in surprising them both and Harris ruined their triumph by telling them that everyone in Port Charles believed them dead. He told them they would cure him or they would die.
