Port Charles Update for Friday, 8-Dec-2000

Ian and Eve wrestle with how to save Harris' life and eventually be released, although Eve is starting to believe even if they do find a cure, he will still kill them. Ian promises Eve that he will not let Harris or anyone else hurt her. Chris goes looking for Livvie and encounters a hostile Lucy who tells him to stay away. Of course, he doesn't and finds her a in "touching" situation with Jack at the Pizza place. He picks a fight with Jack and warns him to stay away from Livvie (Chris..pick on someone your own size...or age for that matter!). A picture falls out of Jack's pocket and it's of 2 boys. Jack has revealed himself to his brother (Chris has lots of skeletons in his closet!) Lucy tells Serena how they can try to help Kevin through his sadness over Eve's "death". Lucy and Serena share a few of their favorite memories and Serena recounts being a flower girl at Eve and Kevin's wedding. Kevin tears Ian's apartment apart looking for answers as to why anyone would want to kill him (and by association Eve). Joe finds Kevin in a rage and tries to talk him out of it. But Kevin says he can help or leave. Just then, Kevin finds a partially written letter that fell out of a book. The letter was in Ian's handwriting (Joe confirms this) and is addressed to Eve, saying "from the moment we kissed..." and was never finished. Kevin feels betrayed and angry. He suspects Joe knows something. Joe admits to Kevin that Ian had developed feelings for Eve before he left town, but knew those feelings had nowhere to go, because of Eve's love for Kevin. Kevin leaves and returns home and begins drinking. He knocks over a lit candle while falling and goes unconscious and the flame has a mind of it's own....
On the next Port Charles, Ian attempts to tell Eve the truth, and Lucy catches Kevin in a dangerously hot situation.
