At the Recovery Room, Lucy tries to convince Livvie that they, along with others, should try to persuade Kevin to stay in Port Charles. Livvie doesn't think they should. She leaves.
At Gabriela's apartment, she and Joe are all lovey-dovey after a night of passion. Lucy arrives and wants them to do something for her but they say they already have plans.
In his office, Kevin is looking at his and Eve's wedding photo when Victor comes in. Kevin says he knows that Victor is there to stop him from leaving Port Charles. Victor says that he knows he can't. Victor gives Kevin a collection of photos of friends and family. Victor says he understands why Kevin wants to leave town. There are too many memories of Eve here. Kevin explains that there is another reason also. He doesn't like his dark, destructive side. He is afraid he will continue to hurt people he cares about. Victor says that he never deliberately hurts someone. He is proud that Kevin is his son. Victor tries to convince his son to stay. Kevin puts the photo album on a shelf after Victor leaves.
Lucy is seen talking to a lot of different people. We can't hear what she is saying because music is playing throughout this whole scene. We can safely assume she is asking them to help her with Kevin. They all seem sorry to not agree with what she asks, but all say no and walk away. There is Mary, then Lee and Gail, then Victor and finally Frank and Neil.
At Jamal and Alison's apartment, each of them are talking privately on their cell phones about their mysterious "jobs." Jamal is insisting he's done what he was supposed to. Alison is saying she wants to be paid in cash. She also is expressing concern over the costume she has to wear. She says she knows it will be fun for "them." Jamal tells Alison that he's sorry he can't be with her tonight. He wanted to make Christmas special. They talk about past Christmases. Alison's parents were never home. She would eat dinner with Nana before Nana would go to the Quartermaines. Then Alison would spend the day with the cook. Jamal had great Christmases. His mother would bake for days. He misses her. Jamal tells Alison that he wants to spend Christmas Eve with her but he has to leave. Alison says she wants to know more about his "mysterious job." While they talk, Alison has her coat on and she is clutching the scarf around her neck. When Jamal tries to take her coat off, she stops him. When he leaves, she takes off the coat, revealing her elf's costume.
When Eve interrupts Ian's research, he lets her know how worried he was about her last night. Eve says things didn't go very far with Harris. Ian says he cares about her. When she starts to say she cares about him, she stops herself. Ian wants to go alone to show Harris his findings. Ian tells Harris that he found a cure. He shows him the formula, written on a piece of paper. Ian crumples it up and throws it in the fireplace. Ian lets Harris know that he has the formula in his head. Even Eve doesn't know it. Ian's deal: let Eve go. When Ian hears from her that she is safe at home, he will give Harris the poison and the serum. Ian knows what Harris had in store for Eve and it will never happen. Harris asks "you're in love with her, aren't you?" Ian demands to know if they have a deal. Harris says ok, but first he wants to "enjoy" Eve. Ian says their deal is off if Harris touches Eve. Also, Eve must think that Ian will be set free. Harris gloats, knowing that he has "won." Ian goes back and tells Eve that they will be going home. Not only that, but she is off the hook with what she promised Harris.
She is ecstatic. First, she kisses Ian sweetly and quickly. Then, she kisses him deeply and passionately over and over.
Kevin enters the lighthouse and is surprised when Victor is right behind him. Victor didn't want Kevin to be alone. Lucy is there. She tells him that she had planned to give him a perfect Christmas present. She's sorry that it won't happen. Then, one by one, the people she had previously talked to, start arriving. They all cancelled their plans. Even Serena comes. Lucy says it's a party for Kevin.
