Port Charles Update for Friday, 29-Dec-2000

Kevin and Lucy arrive at the Light House to a surprise candelight dinner for two, courtesy of Livvie. They discuss their feelings and the past and one thing leads to another and ... they end up making gentle, romantic, passionate love on the floor of the living room!

Meanwhile, Eve and Ian, in the shelter of the cabin they've "borrowed" begin their own mad passion of kissing and touching. Ian stops however and tells Eve that he doesn't want her for only one night, but for every night for the rest of their lives. He confesses his undying love for her. Eve tells Ian that she feels exactly the same way and wants to spend the rest of her life with him.

She does decide that she must tell Kevin first, before they run off together for parts unknown. So they take a cab to the lighthouse, where unbeknownst to Ian and Eve, Kevin and Lucy are making love.

Eve tells Ian that she must tell Kevin alone, so he waits next to the cab for her as she walks up to the lighthouse. Inside, Kevin and Lucy are lying back confessing their undying connection as true soulmates when there is a knock at the door. Eve could not find the key that is usually hidden under the front mat so she knocks on the door several times. Kevin and Lucy agree that since he isn't expecting anyone that they should just be quiet and whoever it is will go away.

After several attempts at knocking all to no avail, Eve looks at her watch and concludes that Kevin must be at the hospital working.

As she runs back to Ian's waiting arms, a car races around the corner and hits Eve. She flies over the top and lands hard on the icy pavement. In horror, Ian runs over to where Eve lays, her bloody body not moving .....
