Port Charles Update for Wednesday, 17-Jan-2001

Ariana is still staying at Ian's house and Ian has bought her a home pregnancy test (Ian is a fast mover-just kiddin). The test is positive (much to her dismay) and she tells Ian that she was raped, and because of that (her family believes it's her fault for putting herself in a dangerous situation) that she must be "honor killed" , rather, killed because she brought dishonor to her family and that's how they take care of that little problem in "her country". Ian assures her nothing will happen to her. Ariana tells Ian he can talk to her about Eve if he wants, as his eyes light up when he talks about her, and it's obvious he cares about her alot.
Eve is still having flashbacks of her time being kidnapped with Ian and wondering whether what she is seeing (her and Ian kissing) is real or fantasy (her reality is my fantasy!). Lucy calls from jail the next morning after being arrested and Eve answers just as Kevin has left to go to work. Lucy says she needs Kevin to bail her out, and Eve, very playfully, tells Lucy it would probably do her good to be there. Much to Lucy's surprise, she is soon sprung from the big house, as EVE was her bailbondsman! She tells Lucy she wanted to bail her out, rather than Lucy always calling on her "doc" to come to her rescue. Lucy tells Eve that she knows things must have happened between Eve and Ian, and that neither she nor Eve are with the men they are supposed to be with. Eve refuses to listen to anymore, telling Lucy she loves her husband very much and isn't going to let Lucy destroy them. As Eve is leaving the police station, one of the police officer's gave her a bracelet she had on after she was hit by the car. Eve had a strong memory of Ian giving her his bracelet, and this leaves Eve to wonder whether it's real or memorex! It's a tangible memory. After staying out all night clubbing, Jack and Livvie arrive back at the hotel and are cozy as ever. Instead of room service showing up, Kevin shows up, worried about Lucy and hoping to catch her at the hotel. Instead of getting Lucy, he found Livvie, playing around on the bed with Jack! Jack assured Kevin they weren't doing anything, and that he has a great deal of respect for her, she is beautiful inside and out. Kevin told him (in a cute, very fatherly way) that if he hurt Livvie, he would have to deal with Kevin. After Jack left, Livvie assured him he handled the situation very well. Livvie tried to give Kevin some advice about sensing some unfinished business with Lucy, but Kevin wasn't very open (alot of inner turmoil-I imagine). After Eve left the police station, Lucy cooled her heels in the interrogation room. When she begins talking to the Universe, saying that if Eve would just be with Ian, whom she has feelings for, then Kevin could be with Lucy, whom he really loves, she turns around and is stunned to find Kevin in the doorway witnessing her "conversation with the stars!"
On the next Port Charles.... Joe asks Ian if Eve knows that the woman who hit her with a car is going to be staying with him, Eve tells Karen if she doesn't find out what really happened she feels she is going to lose her mind, and Scott and Kevin talk about Lucy.
