Alison is thrilled that Jamal has fixed his motorcycle. He tells her that he's taking her for the ride of her life. After their ride, Alison is elated. She and Jamal do some smooching and it starts to snow. Jamal carries her into a barn, which always seems available on soaps. Alison and Jamal make out in the hay and talk about how close and happy they are.

At Ian's, Arianna tells him that her doctor said that everything was fine with her pregnancy. Ian notices her looking sadly at her belly. They discuss abortion because she was raped. Arianna explains that she wouldn't even consider it now that she heard the heartbeat. Ian tells her that he'll take care of her. Arianna assumes that she can live there with him. He says that she won't be safe there. Arianna is sure that she will be. Ben promised her that he would go back and tell their family he carried out the honor killing. Ian thinks of a place where Arianna will be safe. As he's leaving, he tells her not to open the door for anyone. When she is alone, Arianna hears a noise and assumes it's Ian. In walks Ben. She tries to get away but he grabs her and says that she has brought this on herself.

Lucy enters her hotel room. She looks at the photo of Scott and Serena, and then at the one of Kevin and Christina. She calls her assistant, Don. She wants a "new me." Lucy wants to see Wyndham's new collection from Milan. She notices her wedding ring, takes it off and throws it on a table. Later, she is on the phone, inquiring about a red sportscar while a woman is showing her a new line of clothing and a man is fitting her for other clothes. They assume that all this is for the man in her life, but Lucy says she doesn't want any man right now. When a realtor, Darryl, enters, she is instantly attracted to him and off they go. At the Recovery Room, they order drinks and Darryl wants to play jazz on the jukebox. Lucy says she'd rather not. Jazz reminds her of someone. Darryl shows her pictures of homes for sale. She chooses the first one he shows her. He is amazed that she didn't ask the price. She responds that price is no object. They dance and laugh. When Darryl asks if she's free to date him, she answers "free as a bird."

At Harris' compound, Eve and Karen are scared by a noise until they realize that it's a cat. They don't think that Harris would return, but then, nobody would think that Eve would return. Eve describes what their life was like when they were held captive. When Karen realizes that Eve and Ian slept in the same bed, Eve is quick to tell that she was under the cover while Ian was over it. Karen thinks that maybe something happened between Eve and Ian. Eve thinks she may be right. Karen looks under a mattress and finds the letter that Eve wrote to Kevin. When Eve reads that she wrote how much she loved Kevin and wanted to rush home to him, she is convinced that nothing could have happened between her and Ian. Eve asks Karen to leave her alone for ten minutes to think. She hears someone. She assumes it's Karen. It's "Ian." He says that he loves her and that they belong together. Eve smiles. She sees "Kevin" where "Ian" was standing.
