Port Charles Update for Wednesday, 24-Jan-2001

Allison and Livvie discuss Livvie's relationship with Jack. Allison doesn't want to see Livvie get hurt, but Livvie feels she is ready to move on with her life. Chris has hired a private investigator to "do a job" for him. It turns out, that "job" is putting the tape of Jack telling Chris the only reason he got involved with Livvie was to get even with him, into the wrong (or right) hands. The P.I.Chris hires pays a lunchtime visit to the recovery room and moans to Allison that some doctor at G.H. wanted info on his little brother but then stiffed him with the bill. He ends up asking Allison to throw away the envelope with the evidence, and leaves. Allison gets ahold of the tape which is exactly what Chris wanted, knowing she would share the evidence with Livvie. Livvie asks Jack to go to Kevin and Eve's wedding vow renewal with her and afterwards they could go somewhere to be alone.
Lucy and Serena begin to set up house at Lucy's new home. As Lucy asks Serena to help her by lighting incense to clear away the bad energy, Lucy sees Kevin everywhere in her new place. The incense has a hard time keeping a flame, to which Serena surmises it must be that there is something in her past that shouldn't be gone (smart kid, that Serena!). Lucy instantly decides that she will take Serena to Kevin and Eve's ceremony, because she doesn't believe Kevin will be able to go through with the rites.
Eve runs into Ian outside Arianna's room and tells him about her return to Harris' compound. Ian tells Eve that everything that happened there wasn't all bad. Eve hasn't remembered enough yet, but did tell Ian that what she did remember is how much she loves Kevin, as she found the love letter she wrote to him under the mattress. Ian begins to read it and is pretty uncomfortable. Eve struggles to get him to tell her more as Ian struggles not to tell her things he wants her to remember about her love for him. Eve returns Ian's bracelet, telling him that the police said she was wearing it when she was hit by the car. Ian refuses to take it, but Eve insists that it meant alot to him and there must be a reason she gave it to him. He says it was a simple christmas gift, no big deal (right!).
On the next Port Charles...Lucy tells Victor that she is going to Kevin and Eve's ceremony, Karen tells Eve not to go through with the ceremony if there is any doubt at all, and Mac tells Kevin he isn't sure if Kevin is planning a wedding or a wake!
