Port Charles Update for Tuesday, 30-Jan-2001

Eve remembers during her renewal ceremony with Kevin that she was indeed in love with Ian during her time being held captive. She remembers that on the night she was hit by the car, she was on her way to the lighthouse to tell Kevin she was in love with Ian and they wanted to have a life together. Realizing all this information, Eve takes Kevin aside before she says "I Do" and explains that something has changed between them and she can't go through with the ceremony. Even though Kevin is hurt, he is somewhat relieved and admits to Eve that things were different with him too. Eve leaves, as Kevin explains to the guests that there wont be a ceremony, for now at least, at retreats to his room. Victor and Mac come to his room to comfort him, and as Victor tends to the guests, Mac talks to Kevin. Kevin regrets hurting Lucy, and leaves to go find her.

Meanwhile at Lucy's new home, she is "having a little candlight fun" with Jack, unaware, of course, that he is Livvie's boyfriend. Kevin arrives at Lucy's and walks in on Lucy and Jack getting rather close! He freaks out, and while Lucy thinks this is an attempt to try to control her, he tells Lucy that Jack is Livvie's boyfriend. She is shocked. After heated words (and Lucy adorned in a sheet!) the doorbell rings and Lucy sees through the peephole that it's Livvie. She quickly dresses and lets her in while Jack disappears in the hallway. Livvie sees that Kevin is there with her, and says they need to talk. Lucy wonders why, and finds out that the ceremony never took place, to which Lucy was delighted! Just as Livvie is leaving, she sees Jack's coat on the couch (he almost got away!) and wonders what it's doing there. Jack appears from the hallway and Livvie demands the truth.

Eve arrives at the hospital desperate to find Ian and tell him she remembers being in love with him. She can't find him but understands from the nurse that he was with Ariana, whose room is empty. Eve surmises that Ian is trying to hide Ariana and when Karen arrives at the hospital looking for Eve, she tells Karen she has to go find him. Ariana's brother is hunting her down, and, upon hearing Eve is looking for Dr. Ian, tells her that he is Ariana's brother and needs to help her so she can be safe. Eve tells Ben that she thinks she knows where Ian has taken Ariana to keep her safe, and that she can show him. He offers to drive (dont ever get in the car with a stranger, Eve!

Jamal has been on edge all day and after getting a quick meal with Livvie and convincing her to go to Lucy's and ask her advice about Jack (excellent advice!), Allison pumps Jamal for the reason he has been in such a bad mood. Jamal tells her it's the anniversary of his mothers death and shares some special memories of her with Allison. He thinks he has disappointed his mom by not turning out to be what she could be proud of but Allison assures him he is a great guy and someone she loves, and that he will find his place soon.

On the next Port Charles... Lucy and Kevin have alot to talk about, and Ben tells Eve on the way to the cabin, that Ariana was the woman who hit her with the car.
