Port Charles Update for Tuesday, 1-May-2001

Arianna is happy to be at home with Ian. The doorbell rings. It's the native chief. Ian tells Arianna that he is there to help them. The chief tries to give Arianna emotional strength and rid her of any of her past guilt. Ian tells the chief that he wanted to protect Arianna, but one careless moment with Eve caused Arianna to almost lose her life. The chief says that a miracle will come to help him and Arianna. It will come from a far distance.

Lucy and Kevin are waiting in a restaurant for Livvie and Jack. They both feel uncomfortable. Kevin admits he is dreading spending the evening with someone who is probably sleeping with his daughter. Livvie and Jack arrive and it is obvious that Jack feels awkward also. Over dinner, everything that is said seems to have a sexual connotation. Now everyone feels uncomfortable. Kevin declares the meal a fiasco. Livvie tells Kevin that Estelle has an imaginary boyfriend, Archie. They decide that Kevin should stop by to evaluate her. The four of them go to Estelle. Livvie walks in and catches her grandmother with a man on the couch. Livvie and the rest quickly leave, embarassed because Estelle and the man were becoming intimate and Estelle was in a sexy nightie. Out in the hall, they all have a good laugh.

Frank and Rhonda are still at Jake's. Frank is still grilling Rhonda about the night of the dance. When he talks about her communicating with someone on the computer, she wants to know how he knows about all that. He says he was the one. She can't believe it. He was only three years old. Frank brings Rhonda to his garage to show her his computer, but it is gone. He tells her that she was with him and Karen when he bought it. She thinks he's been drinking too. Frank shows her the note she left for him outside Kelly's. She remembers it. She says that the day after the dance was the day her father got rid of the computer. Frank thinks that he bought that same computer twenty-eight years later and that's how they communicated. Rhonda tells Frank that he messed up her life with his advice. Rhonda tells of how her father thought she was crazy and sent her to a mental institution. Frank tells Rhonda about Karen. She is beautiful and smart and he loves her. She was on her way to save Arianna's life. Frank asks Rhonda if she knows where her father put the computer. He needs her help. Rhonda tells him never to ask for her help again. Back in his garage, Frank trashes the place and has flashbacks of being with Karen. He vows to find her.
